Was one of the few in the place that spoke English as my 1st language, an indicator that maybe this was a real Mexican place. Very small, only about a dozen tables in 2 rooms, but good service, HUGE chips & salsa, good beer selection. Had the Super Ground Beef Burrito, about as big as a football! Very tasty, lots... More

Mexican food restaurant with sitting tables and balcony. Great menu variety and prices for the portion. I will recommend this restaurant chain to everyone visiting L. A.

Great chips/corn tortillas but the rest of the food is nothing to get excited about. I enjoy the dive restaurant experience in Los Angeles but this place doesn't get my vote. Recommend trying La Paz nearby or Sion's in Manhattan beach for a better low-cost Mexican dining experience. Or, go more upscale to Pancho's or Paco's Taco's nearby.

All I can say is, you people who live in this area don't know how good you have it. After eating at El Tarasco's for over 30 years , we moved out of state. We miss this food so much. Nothing like it east of the Rockies. It is often our first stop when returning to town. Jr. Super Deluxe,... More

Usually when the wife and I fly into Los Angeles to visit family our first place we eat is at El Tarasco's. Tonight was a disaster, my wife, sister and myself could taste the difference in the sauce poured over the burrito. It was a chipole sauce instead of their normal red sauce. The guacamole had a sour taste and... More

I worked at the El Tarasco on Main Street almost 40 years ago when I was 16, and have lived out of the area for over 20 years. I went back to El Segundo last weekend and El Tarasco was my first stop. The Jr. Super Deluxe Burrito was exactly as I remembered it - Delicious! My friend had the... More

As a local this is the place I go for good quick, cheap Mexican Food. Food is very good and they have daily specials that keep the price very reasonable. Like their Fajitas and Tacos not quite as a big a fan of their Tostadas and Taco Salads.

Very good Mexican restaurant ! Not a fancy place so very casual and laid back. Food was delicious and was very hot and fresh when brought to table. I had chicken enchiladas with rice and beans. Visiting family here on west coast and will definitely like to eat there again!

Being a lover of Mexican Food I enjoy trying different Mexican Restaurants. Growing up in San Diego gave me the opportunity to enjoy true Senora Style Mexican food. I have tried El Tarasco multiple times and can state unequivocally the food is just average. Do I recommend it while in LA? No. There are better Mexican Restaurants in the greater... More
