We had breakfast here on our way south. The food was very tasty and prepared well. My husband got the breakfast sandwich and i got the Spanish tortilla - lovely, with cheese and eggs and veggies, what's not to like! The food took quite a bit of time to appear and many customers were waiting also. But would definitely recommend... More

Stopped with friends for lunch and a few beers. The menu had many familiar diner options but flavors were a step above typical roadside diner fare. Two in the group had the reuben sandwich and raved about it. Left with a big smile and full belly.

We just happened on this place -- went in --were greeted warmly and the food was tasty and did not take long to prepare. It is small and cozy place-- has an intimate touch/feeling to it.

Nice folks, pleasant room, but a bit disappointing if you expected great. The food took a very long time to come (only moderately busy) and it was fresh but not that flavorful. Hoped for more, but still pretty nice.

Bring your appetite when you go to Queenie's. She makes the best corned beef hash and eggs I've ever tasted. The omelets are varied and delicious. The coffee is good. The staff is attentive.

Stopped on a recommendation while on Vacation and sure glad we did. It was morning Brunch and we were hungry! We started with the special "Mimosa!" and worked our way into 4 different breakfast items, all of which were prepared as ordered and with fresh ingredients. Great little diner in an area with not much else around. Take time to... More

This place is a a local favorite, everyone in Elk loves Queenie. That being said, the reason for the loyalty for Queenie's might just be the friendship for the friendly owner. The food is hit and miss sometimes. I have a difficult time ordering because it is not a healthy place to eat. My friend loves eating here, he loves... More

This is a part of California badly in need of an honest meal. There are a lot of way overpriced eateries in the California style. No Gluten, non GMO, everything organic etc, etc. tiny half grown little vegetables and precious fish that is hooked and not netted and animal protein that has been raised like some of our "snowflake" college... We got a recommendation from a local to get brunch at QUeenie's and we are so glad we stopped there! The food was all freshly prepared, made to our specifications and excellent to taste. There is no gluten free but there are plenty of naturally non-gluten foods on the menu to choose from. They also have specialty coffees and though... More

It is rare to find a place to eat that everyone else wants to eat at and you have to come really early to get in. Elk is a sparsely populated area too. But this food is more than special. You have to eat here to experience fabulous tastes in the dining experience. Just plan to go and you won't... More
