This is just another so-so restaurant, go to Dennys. I've eaten here twice, never again. Cooks can't cook, food is edible but not much more than that. Service was decent, too bad the food is less than average. Put a place off the freeway and charge more for just so-so food.

I pulled off the freeway to check the car...and....I had to go get an apricot shake and and apricot milk shake. Well the milk shake was not anything special and the apricot flavor was a bit weak. I bought a couple of muffins for my wife and myself on the road and again nothing special. They were more like spice... More

Stopped here because we didn't want fast food and there weren't many options. Food was ok, but my mom found a hair in her eggs. They did take her meal off the bill which we appreciated. The server was very nice and overall her service was very good. We enjoyed looking around the gift store but don't think we'll be... More

We stopped in because I used to come here when I was young. They still have the collection of vintage lunch boxes and thermoses out, and we had a great time checking them out while we waited for our meal. I had apricot French toast and my husband had chicken fajitas and both were good. The apricot syrup was fantastic... More

Stopped here going up I-5. About what you would expect, the food was very ordinary, a step below Denny's. The service was very good, has a gift shop and some video machines.

I take several trips to SoCal along I-5 and I always want to stop here and get the apricot pie. So far, they have kept the quality up on the apricot pie and it is still very good! So that's the one thing saving this place from a lower stars review. And that's bewildering, because over my past few visits,... More

The Apricot Tree, a roadside restaurant along I-5 between LA and the Bay Area, is not a destination restaurant. But it is one of the few non-fast-food choices along this stretch of road and we've passed it dozens of times over the decades, so we decided to give it a try, since we were in the mood for a more... I stayed at the Best Western Apricot Inn right next door to this place and decided to give it a try. The place was pretty empty and only about 3 staff working that I could see. Service was good from the waiter and they all seemed to be pretty attentive too. I ordered the ice tea which was very strong... More
