My wife and I both had lunch at the Islands, we were greeted and seated promptly upon entering. We both chose the chicken tacos special for our lunch, very well prepared and the service was outstanding. Highly recommend eating lunch here, easy access on and off CA-50.

The service here was great. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We had lava flow drinks which were really good. Not the best turkey burger I have ever had. The spinach and artichoke dip was one of the best I have ever had. Prices were not too bad.

I took my son here for lunch recently. He had the Malibu, as he usually does, and I tried the Baja chicken tacos for the first time. (How does a burger restaurant, of all places, have fish and chicken tacos but not beef?) The food was fine, although for two tacos I thought the Baja was a bit overpriced. Our... More

My husband and I went to Islands just for the burgers. I had the burger with chili and I was fine. My husband had the burger with blue cheese dressing, blue cheese, and mayo. He became violently ill just one hour later. I suspect that the cheeses and/or mayo was not kept cold enough in the kitchen. We will never... More

In town on business and was drawn in by the tiki style decor looking for a more relaxed environment. Came for dinner after work one night and sat at the bar for dinner. The "Hawaii" burger was really good, a mix of teriyaki sauce and pineapple on a burger was delicious. Fries were good and overall I enjoyed the meal.... More

The food was average. The wait for the server to come see us was about 15 minutes. Strange because the place was not that busy on a Sunday. The beer was good and cold so my advice, go to the bar.

We had a young lady serve us . From start to Finsh a huge smile on her face there is nothing worse than a moody person serving you so that was a big hit how nice and friendly and naturally happy she was . The food was amazing I got the chilli cheese fries and himself got one of the... More

The Caribbean motif is a bit strained but fun. The ambience is trendy bar food but families seem to enjoy themselves. My wife had the “Shorebird” sandwich which featured a grilled, moist chicken breast, (boneless & skinless) on an Islands whole wheat bun topped with applewood smoked bacon and lightly covered with guacamole. The standard Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion,... More

Was back in the Folsom area and decided to go to Islands. Wow after three years the prices really increased. A domestic regular size beer for $5.85??? I ordered the Northshore tacos it stated loaded with spicy chicken. After digging through all the lettuce I did find a chunk of chicken. Spicy??? No way. They should call it a bland... More
