quality of the meat is better than any KBBQ place in LA. that's not saying much...but service is great, been going here for almost a decade. Ran into Morimoto here. Place is good. expect to pay about $50/person. if you want 8 people, there's only one table for that. good for groups of 2-4 skip the prime ribeye go for... More

Friendly service, good quality of meats, salad with pecans is okay, beef soup is good. I enjoyed the Kobe beef, skirt steak and pork belly. The red bean ice cream in coconut milk was good. Less wait than Anjin and a bit expensive.

As a an expert in Korean BBQ I've tried real cobe beef from Kobe Japan. Yes it is not the same but for this part of the world and the price you can't go wrong.

Fine place for japanese BBQ. We made reservations here and recommend you do because the place fills up pretty fast and there was a long line waiting by the time we were done. The staff is very nice and the quality of the meat was great. We ordered all different kinds including the galbi, sirloin, tongue. You name it, we... More

At first we were a little suspicious due to a snafu for our large party. The confirmation call happened, but it was mysteriously "lost". After a big scramble to fix it and two hours later, and gracious apologies from the owner and staff, all was well. The meat quality was out of this world. And this is even including the... More

This was a nice Japanese BBQ establishment. It is not very big restaurant, and it seemed like it has been there for a while, so more like older interior design. The meat quality was excellent. We ordered fresh tongue and other parts of the cow that is not too popular, but the quality was great! I didn't like the charge... More

Tsuruhashi features Osaka style "grill your own" Japanese barbecue. * It Is located in a strip mall, and a bit difficult to spot * Select from a variety of fresh meats, including Kobe style beef, rib eye, pork cheek, and sausage- all are delicious and come with a dipping sauce * We would not recommend the seafood platter- it's easy... Better than AnJin in Costa Mesa! We couldn't get over how good the Kobe Cap beef tasted. We just sat there inhaling everything we ordered. Spent about $80 for two! A little pricey but definitely worth it if you're craving ridiculously good bbq.

Thank lauraiz
