If you are in the area, this is a must-stop. Make sure you visit their beautiful gardens behind the bakery .....Breads are freshly baked and they have samples. There is usually a line out the door, but it moves quickly
It's coffee and a roll. Good quality with an interesting twist. The rolls are large and can be split for two. Plan on picking up a loaf of bread for dinner.
Our first chosen stop was closed so we headed on toward Bodega Bay and found this "slice of heaven" on our way. The smell coming from this unassuming building in the middle of nowhere is drool inducing . Once you enter your senses are assaulted...More

A must stop, an institution by now. The area is lovely, coastal and sort of remote and the bakery is exciting. Generous tastes, scones a surprise, sometimes wow and sometimes not so much. Fougasse goat cheese my favorite.
