...At least we were a long time ago. This was a great little hometown find. One of the best Rueben's I ever had and I eat a lot of them. It's a combination deli, sitdown restaurant and store for German items. It's really pretty small and you really have to want to go there. Wo do and We'll be back!

One Saturday afternoon, I dropped by to check out the only German Restaurant within a 30 mile radius of where I live. I’ve seen it advertised for quite some time but this was my first visit to Munchner Haus. A simple, quaint spot tucked away inside a strip mall that most probably bypass on their way to and from work.... More

Not what I was expecting! With maybe four to six people (mostly couples) ahead of us placing orders, I cannot believe my husband and I spent about 45 minutes from the moment we sat in line until our sandwiches were brought to our table. As far as the food goes, it was OK. I would called it more Americanized German... More

It took us 40 minutes to get lunch on a Tuesday. I tried one of their specialties, curry bratwurst. It arrived lukewarm with watery curry sauce. The problem was that the owner was the only one working and the orders were backed up. She was the order clerk, cook and cashier. I was expecting a whole bratwurst on a bun... More

I went here for lunch with my parents hoping to give them a nice experience in an authentic German restaurant. From the time we walked in they were not that friendly and the service was horrible. The food was decent but was overpriced. They literally started picking up our plates before we were done eating! I would not recommend this... More

Still my favorite place to order my favorite sandwich: turkey, jack cheese & avocado on dark rye and a dill pickle yumm! Been going here since the 1970's and they know how to do it right. A great sandwich shop with real character!

Good German Deli with some German grocery items and Nick-Knacks to purchase. Appears some locals may hang out as there are board games available. The beer selection has gone down lately :-( They use to have the double fridge stocked on both sides full of wonderful varieties of German beer..this last visit they were down to just one side.

This is a nice place for lunch; there is a small cafe. There is a seating area both inside the restaurant and an outside patio area. There is a deli inside so you can order things to take home for dinner; there is some other food products also for sell. Parking is in a free lot by the deli.

If you are looking for European food (sandwich like) for lunch with reasonable prices, this is the place to go. The ambiance is like a mom and pop shop. They also have a little store with international food.

If you go, get the bratwurst sandwich. the rest is just kind of ordinary. But the place is really German and lots of German products for sale. My brother likes the tuna sandwich too.
