A good assortment of Japanese menu. Tan Pan Yaki is a entertaining cooking experience. Good sushi and noodles.

Large interior with some Japanese style seating. Large menu with many choices. Sushi and teppanyaki available. We chose the Boat Lunch, a very pretty looking, large portion combo with many traditional style foods to sample. All were tasty, although not exactly health food. A fun experience. And enough left over for lunch at home the next day.

It has a large dining area, and rooms that can be authentic Japanese style with the seating on the side in a private room. Parking is difficult, but worth it.

have been eating in San Jose's Japantown for decades. We tried Edo ya years ago and found it to be the best place to eat in Fresno at that time. Since the Fresno part of the family are not keen on fish its been a long while in between visits. We finally go back and are sad to say it... More

I've been a customer of this establishment for years. Always been my favorite Japanese restaurant until I moved out of Fresno 10 years ago. I make it a point to come eat at Edo Ya when I come into town. My 3 friends and I went there for dinner the other night, and just as the entrée was served a... More

Have visited this restaurant in a number of years. It was a different restaurant called Bando Ya back in the day. I had lunch there and enjoyed some delicious lobster rice with vegetables and some delicious sushi. The server was very accommodating and absolutely nice the entire time. Fun!

Rude waitress, She had an attitude, didn't smile. Charge extra for everything. No free refills, charge for sauces. Portions are small! Don't waste your money!

Hands down one of the best teppayaki cuisines in the central valley! You have to try it at least once.

Went on a Friday night and was busy as usual. Got a spot at the bar and the bartenders were very friendly and make great drinks at a reasonable price. We were seated very quickly, which was impressive. When it came time to order, I requested more vegetables instead of rice, as I am on a low carb diet. I... More
