Classy dining suitable for many occasions. We felt comfortable all the time. The food was excellent as was the friendly but courteous service. Nice view of the city lights with pleasant piano music in the background. Highly recommend it!

I've lived near this restaurant for 14 years. High quality and delicious food. Skip your diet on this visit. Costumes set with English theme. Service is spot on....great wine list. I go with executives from my company otherwise a bit pricey out of my own pocket. Bar scene is nice and classy. The view is the main attraction.. for romance... More

Excellent peppercorn NY strip, carrots well prepared, bottomless corn. Very flavorful creme brule with berries. Piano player in the background. Excellent service. Expensive, but we'll worth the price. $155 total for two, many drinks, shared one dinner entree and desert. The view of the city lights is spectacular.

I took my friend to the restaurant to celebrate his birthday. When we arrived and went inside, he said, I don't feel that we are dressed for this place, we should have worn suits, ties, or a tuxedo. So, I told him that there or no requirements to dress formal. That's the atmosphere that surrounds Summit House. This due to... More

We came here with another couple for happy hour drinks. It was great service, fast drinks and yummy appetizers. We tried some cocktails, wine and all the appetizers. Really enjoyed the sliders and the big shrimp cocktail. Go here for the great happy hour pricing!

Not only did I work here, I also enjoy coming back to visit friends and enjoy one of the best meals in town. Tim Plum, is such an amazing chef and he's always coming up with new ideas for the menu. We go there every chance we get, oh and the Golden Oldie is a must have.

Sunday is the best date night, we sat in the bar where the food is discounted for the day. Sliders were awesome, but not as good as the creamed corn. And I loved the pear martini, I would have all these delicious items again.

For centuries the English Inn has earned a great reputation for friendly faces, cozy rooms and cheery firesides. As soon as guests come to the Inn, the charming hosts and hostesses run to greet them.

In front of a crackling fire one can partake of good hearty fare - the tankard is always full - the spit hung with roasting beefs - and a table heaped with sweets and such.

The Inn Keepers of the Summit House are inspired by this custom to create an hospitable place where friends can meet to eat, drink and delight in the views of North Orange County's countryside.

To one and all, welcome!
