You feel as though most everyone coming here are regulars. The servers work their tails off and the service is simple but exquisite. It takes some time to figure out the menu, but the food is simple and perfect. They can get food out really quickly, but if there are open tables they don't force you out. You feel welcome.... More

Noodle City is a small hole in the wall Vietnamese restaurant with a BIG menu. The wait staff tries very hard and are really friendly. Where in greater Santa Barbara can you get a healthy sit down lunch with a good waiter for under $10? Today there was a line out the door, but they handle it we'll.

I came here for pho and what makes a good pho are the noodles and the broth. The noodles here were chewy (A+ in my books) and the broth was flavourful (A+ as well). But the meat portions were small and meats were overcooked. It was too chewy for my liking. I would have given this place a rating of... More

First of all: it smells amazing when you walk in the door. That is likely going to be the friendliest part of your experience at Noodle City in Goleta. I asked for a very reasonable vegetarian request of spring rolls, but without meat or fish; and this was not possible as they do not make their own- they are pre... More

I do not know what it is but the soft noodle dishes have wonderful tiny crunchy things. Some of the most delicious noodles I have ever had. The veggies that accompany pho are very fresh, and the pho itself - well, chickens were invented in Southeast Asia, so they have chicken broth down. I have rarely seen wait staff so... More

There isn't a lot of VM or Chinese restaurant in the area. I am glad to find this place. Pho is authentic, the place is small. Service is below average, just like most of the Asian restaurants. If you are looking for real VM Pho and food, this is the place. The price is reasonable.

I work nearby and come here frequently for the Pho. I think it's pretty good, could be a bit more flavorful and have more onions and cilantro. Portion seems slightly smaller than what I get at other restaurants in town. Since I'm a "regular" it's nice to be greeted by the staff and take out service for Pho is quick.... More

Vietnamese food at another hidden gem in Goleta. If you are going here for lunch get there early as it gets crowded fast (yes because the food is that good). If you are unsure of anything on the menu ask the staff, they will explain the menu until you know what you want.

It is always hot in this hole in the wall restaurant. I think it's due to it always being crowded. Food is good quality but lacks taste. I'm just back from Vietnam so I was jones'ing for Vietnamese food They have lots of choices on menu but I had the bun ga (rice noodles with chicken) and it was pretty... More
