You can go vegan or gluten free or whatever preference you have. You can be confident that it will be delicious and fresh.

We've eaten here several times over the past few months. It's a local favorite. Their menu serves fresh, creative breakfast and lunch dishes so many options.Service is always friendly and fast and this restaurant has lots more space than the one in Nevada City. My only issue with both is the flies. Wish they could remedy that as it puts... More

Loved the food, loved the staff. Was a great find as a vegetarian. GO! Stayed at the Courtyard Suites which was a block away which I can also recommend.

Started with some great bloody Mary's. We all ordered breakfast burritos. Best Ever btw. The kiddos had the mouse pancakes. Let me say the was a breakfast to remember. We all had enough fuel for our planned hie for the day and felt amazing. Love this place ❤️❤️❤️

Even if you are not a vegeterian, the Nut Burger is a must have. One servings of hand tossed fries with either garlic or other, can easily be shared.

Numerous very good meals. Interesting variety, not the norm as in many cafe's. Excellent service at a reasonable price.

I ordered lunch from South Pine thanks to the recommendation of some locals, and was so glad I did. The turkey sandwich was very messy, but totally worth it. Everything on the menu was appealing to me, and I would love to go back. Eat here!

It's the Wandering Yank here. Mrs. Yank and I spent a couple weeks in Grass Valley recently, and we had heard good things about the South Pine Café. We were not disappointed! It's a bit eclectic, a good thing. This is definitely not a Denny's for breakfast! (not that I have anything against Denny's - I've always liked it, especially... More

Great fresh food. We enjoyed the delicious and fresh selections we had for a late lunch. The drink selection was fabulous. We both tried different fresh lemonades both plain and infused with fresh fruit and berries...amazing. Thanks for the creativity and great experience.

This is one of 3 South Pine restaurants, the others are in Nevada City and Auburn, so you can always get a fix of their excellent Benedicts, fresh-squeezed juice mimosas, and delicious scrambles. We had breakfast on a Sunday, there was a little wait but not bad. Our server was incredibly friendly and gave good advice on the menu. My... More
