Food is usually good to very good. Calzone had too much dough, but that was an unusual selection by one of our party. Service is inconsistent. Some nights it is great, others, not so great. And it doesn't seem to depend upon how busy they...More

This restaurant I've been a patron of for 12 years. The food is very tasty and the presentation is wonderful as well. I have eaten at It's Italia alone, with family or friends or with a party of over 20 people.

Ordered a steak, medium, arrived dripping blood, it got taken back and was returned 2 minutes later ABSOLUTELY incinerated, carbon falling off. Waitress had no clue as to what a steak should look like. I can only think chef did not like criticism and set...More

We enjoyed the evening at It's Italia. We ordered family style and shared the four dishes. The Branzino and Rigatoni ala Vodka were our favourites. Janet was wonderful.

It was the best pizza we had in San Francisco bay. We had as well some pasta and salad which were good too, but the pizza outstanded. Very nice local too and warm customers. I will definitely go again if I have the chance

Recommended to us by a guy loading pizza boxes into his trunk as the best pizza in town. It's a lovely restaurant, not your usual pizza place. I had a No Ka Oi French toast which was out of this world. The other two had...More

With only a few days in SF and staying in Half Moon Bay choices are limited, but this place was pretty OK. When arrived it was fairly busy and people eating at the bar made it difficult to get a drink to pass the time...More

We have eaten many times here, starting from the time when they first opened in a small shopping center near the entrance to historic Main Street. Now located in what was once a sleazy pool hall and bar, It's Italia is now one of the...More

Hi Deb, Typically we don't offer the breakfast pizza during the week, however if you're able to call somewhat ahead, the kitchen will be happy to accommodate your request- they just need to make sure the necessary... More

It's Italia opened in 1997 as a San Francisco style trattoria and pizzeria serving gourmet pizzas, house pastas, and creative salads, always with a California Italian flavor, and a wine list of 10-12 varietals. Ten years later, our menu has expanded to include steak and seafood grilled specialties, artful antipasti, and a decadent array of housemade desserts from our pastry chef. Over 120 bottles line up on our wine list from Italy, California, France, Spain, Australia, and New Zealand. As always, we have remained faithful to a local coastal California Italian cuisine, with its cosmopolitan nature, bringing produce and cheeses from local farms, meats and poultry from quality and organic growers, and seafood from a variety of waters. Most importantly, we are a little local community restaurant that serves locals. Lots of locals! Our advertising is mostly word of mouth. Our energy is inviting, positive, and friendly, and when you come in, you are invited to be part of our family.
