We stopped here for breakfast and were very happy with the food and service. The menu was good and the food outstanding. Not easy to find the worth the effort

Pleasantly surprised. We were traveling and hungry for Mexican Food. Went on Yelp. Found Rincon Norteno as being close by on Indio Blvd. Located in an old part of town with closed businesses and stark neighborhood. But it was well lit and on the corner. Nothing fancy, but clean, great people, home cooking, good prices. Families were dining, but not... More

We were down in Indio and stopped by this classic Mexican restaurant that has been in Indio for YEARS. Their food is very traditional, large portions and I love that it is not salty. It is a small restaurant so it is a little tricky for wheelchairs and strollers. I would definitely go back but this is one of those... More

After a day at the Tamales Festival we thought we would try this restaurant after sampling their tamales at the festival. The food was not to our standard of mexican food. Tamale was terrible, nothing like what we sampled, taco shell was cold and meat was over cooked. We requested a replacement. However the rice and beans were excellent. Would... More

Very busy especially in the busy winter tourism month. Food is hearty and plentiful and well priced. Our meal was a little slow in coming but they were full at the time with people waiting

I was told by a co-worker to try this place when we made our way through here. It was very good! Authentic, homemade Mexican food! Friendly service and big portions for what we paid! Must try!

When in Indio I visit my favorite Mexican Café on Indio Blvd., it's a small café with great homemade Mexican food, the taco, enchilada, burritos, beans and rice are fantastic and very authentic tasting, you get plenty of chips and salsa and my servers are always very attentive, the place does get packed at the noon hour but worth the... Fifteen years ago and for many, many years this has been our go to place for original Mexican food. Always delicious....with great service. Went there a few weekends ago..............tasteless food!!! We all looked at each other thinking it was maybe one dish..............they were all tasteless. Found out that the man who owned it died. He's son took over!!!!!!!!!!! Well, get... More

Went with friends today for lunch. Excellent ambiance considering what we we wanted. A couple staff had called in sick so we had the owner. Loved my burrito, others had an enchilada and fish tacos. It was very authentic, served efficiently and hot. We had excellent attention and all was very good. Prices were reasonable and we had a great... More

I'm not really impressed by this restaurant I ordered a chavela and when I started drinking it I was able to smell something weird on the cup I don't know if they don't use soap or just using a dirty rag. Kitchen needs and update, I only go to this place because of my wife that she went with her... More
