My family and I dropped in while in California for Spring Break. The hostess at the door greeted us so pleasantly that it set the mood for the entire visit. The food was delicious and the music was awesome. We will definitely drop back in on our next visit to LA.

My husband and I visited this place and it was pretty good. I got the pancakes which were amazing! The pork sausage was pretty salty and burnt. The potatoes were really good too. They make the with onion and bell pepper, great flavor. My husband got the steak and egg. He said the steak was OK nothing to write home... More

I tried this soul food styled restaurant before my flight out, and I will say that it was pretty decent. I am originally from the south so I love fish and grits, which is what I got. It wasn't the best by far as it didn't have much seasoning going on. Next time I am in town I will try... More

Like a 98 mph fastball, a great option if you have it !!! Today I had salmon croquettes, collard greens, candied yams, cornbread, muddy water(lemonade topped with iced tea) and a mimosa to wash it all down. Yummy!!!;-)

My wife, mom, brother and his wife were looking for a place to eat because we had to catch our plane out of LAX. My brother's wife pulled up the Tripadvisor app on her smartphone and several venues popped up. The Serving Spoon was one of them. Sunday brunch was in full effect and we waited maybe 20 minutes but... More

Delicious breakfast! I had fish and grits. My friend had French toast and chicken. The staff was very friendly and our waitress, Courtney, gave us great suggestions on the menu. Also try the cornbread on the grill. It was amazing!

On our way to the LAX airport having time and being hungry we decided to go eat breakfast nearby. Found this place (20 min wait) with friendly staff and plenty of good stuff: egg over-easy perfect, potates, all wheat toasted bread....even tasted the French toast ordered by others in our group : très bon !

This was a surprise highlight of my visit to L.A. My daughter took me here for an early lunch. We had to wait for a table but the servers were so friendly. We had a wonderful meal of chicken and waffles and grits. I could have sworn I was in the Deep South instead of Los Angeles! I'd love to... More
