This is a very cute, but small restaurant. I'd advise going early, as we did, or make reservations. We had our pick of tables when we arrived and opted for the back room to avoid the front door which opens right into the main dining room bringing with it lots of cold air. The menu is small, and we don't... More

Went for dinner our first night, amazingly fresh oysters and tried some of their broiled oysters as well. Great service and food-highly recommend, but make a reservation

From the time you arrive until you leave...it's like enjoying a meal at your best friend's home...who happens to be a 5 star chef. The Chelsea Gems were good. But the Hog Island Oysters Roasted in Tomatillo were divine. Honestly they rival my all time favorite oysters from Wellfleet, MA. We loved the simplicity of the tasting menu. Griddled Capay... More

The service here was terrible. The old guy who is the owner has the poor manner. He thought he has a great manner and look awesome? But it came like his service was horrible and ruined our lunch. Please avoid coming to this restaurant.

Sadly your poor manner was unacceptable and your reaction to being asked to be civil in our dining room caused you to write a poor review. We appreciate that you have a choice in where you eat but being rude has no place in our restaurant. We welcome your decision to no longer done with us and wish that you... More

It’s a small seafood place and oyster bar with a small menu and reasonable prices. Excellent fresh and cooked oysters, plump and very fresh. You could start and finish just with the oyster dishes. Creative organic offerings including non-seafood dishes with a small, fairly priced wine list and artisan beers. I definitely can recommend the Raw Deal (a dozen oysters),... More

One of the nicest places to eat in the Bay Area. Terrific oysters (broiled and raw) and seafood; friendly, informal service and atmosphere. Not to be missed.

This tiny restaurant has the most incredible food. I'm not an oyster kind of person, and I thought their broiled oysters were really yummy! The menu is not large, but the quality was spot on. A tip for cold weather: the front door opens right into the dining area. There are space heaters, but the room is very cold. Expect... More

Food was good. The Oysters on the "left" coast as more expensive than on the "right" coast. Sweeter & smaller...but my husband liked them. The bowl of butternut squash was good...not a full bowl. We ordered a grilled cheese...and we waited..& waited! We asked the guy shining the Oysters if he could check on our sandwich. He came back and... More

A charming, small restaurant, check when it is open before you go, however. decent wine list, a limited menu of salads , entrees, and oysters, not cheap. the service , for such a small place, was not as organized as it could have been, and the kitchen ran out of things like bread, on a night where the place was... Great meal, great service. Fresh, farm to table produce. Good size portions, my mom and I shared the wonderful petrale sole and a great salad and a good dessert. Hopefully I can find my pics to add to the review. Comfy atmosphere that is not pretentious. I had a nice dry cider for a beverage. My new favorite Point Reyes... More
