After reading the reviews we were excited to come have a nice dinner ... however ... drinks were made incorrectly and food came out cold. Kinda disappointed to say the least. Great lodge like atmosphere with wood burning fireplace... would work well for a large group. Overall not impressed.

We were staying at Double Eagle Resort & Spa which was great. However, the restaurant was not good. We tried breakfast twice and dinner twice, that includes the special Thanksgiving dinner. Not once were the potatoes served hot! All four meals had cold potatoes. I had to send back every meal for being served cold. One waiter even put his... More

The food is always good in fact sometimes I'd say excellent ( we've been guests at the resort at least 5 times over the years) ... both breakfast and dinner but the hours are terrible. You must plan carefully if you are a resort guest who wants to use the spa and eat dinner. We got off the mountain by... More

A group of us went so there was plenty of seating though if the place is packed waiting for the bathroom could be a pain. The food itself was ok nothing spectacular in my opinion just like any other place I've been

We were staying at the " Double Eagles resort and spa"and as we were very impressed with the spa facilities, we wrongly assumed that the restaurant would be of the same calibre. The service was very good and friendly, but the food was very mediocre and the prices quite high for such plain and unimaginative food. The house salad was... More

We enjoyed this place which was peaceful and beautiful. The Fish & Chips and Tacos were really good. We recommend the place for lunch with family.

The interior of this restaurant reminded me of the inside of the Ahwahnee dining room in Yosemite National Park. High ceilings, rustic wood chairs, located next to a wooded stream. A beautiful setting. The food complimented the setting. If you are not a big eater or have a large appetite, consider splitting an entree. My wife and I split a... More

First evening service was slow food ok. Watch for 18% service added even though states this only for parties of 6 plus Next night waited 15 mins to be acknowledged. Asked to be seated told only table captain can seat you. Finally seated (not full) another 15 min wait and a couple of requests to order. Food acceptable when it... More

We stayed in the Mammoth Lake/June Lake area for four days. The restaurants by an large are over-priced and strive to attain mediocre. Honestly, if you can get an average meal, you're doing great. Eagle's Landing on the price/value/atmosphere continuum is the best we experienced. Service was fine, food was better than average and prices -- while totally too much... More

We stayed at the resort and had dinner at this restaurant. The food was good overall, especially the chocolate molten lava cake for dessert! The service was a bit slow overall.
