The food is good, but doesn't have the flavor of authentic Mexican food. This place originated as an offshoot of the Salazar family of restaurants, but unfortunately doesn't have the flavor of the original. It's not that this isn't a good place to eat, because it is, but there several other restaurants in town that offer tastier food, in my... More

The atmosphere is good with the bar separated from the restaurant. The food I had was fresh and cooked perfectly, The service was slow but we had no real problems with them. Spent some time in the bar as well watching the baseball playoffs - excellent little bar with a good staff. If you get a chance ask for the... More

As far as Mexican food goes this restaurant is just average. Service was slow, food prices a little on the high side.

Came for a Mexican food fix had the chicken and steak fajitas. A great dinner. Good service. Very close to Fairfield Hotel and King Liquor Store.

Although Salazar's has a good reputation I found the food to me just okay. Service was terrible and I had to go the the cash register to even get my bill.

We loved our food but the service was SLOW. We had somewhere to be and wish we'd gone elsewhere. By the time we ordered and has waited awhile other tables around us mentioned how long they'd been waiting. We got our food about 45 minutes after ordering. I'd go back as long as I had plenty of time!

Yelp had very few and out dated reviews. But the food I'd say was authentic. So we're the chips. I had a pork chimichanga and the pork was shredded nicely and lots of cheese. Service was incredible, but there were probably only two other tables at the time.

Good food, reasonably priced. It is a small town without a lot of restaurant choices, but I would go there again without hesitation.

The only thing still on my mind when I think of my dinner at this Salazar is how dissatisfied I was. Thinking hard, I see a huge plate with more onions and peppers than the ordered pork chops in front of my eyes. That's it. I tend to forget bad eating experiences right away. Maybe therefore I shouldn't write about... More
