This is to this day the best breakfast food I've ever had. Their coffee is delicious, their service is great. The atmosphere is cozy. And the food, oh my goodness. Everything we tried was simply delicious. If you're in San Diego it's worth the drive to La Jolla. Get there early though, it fills up.

Cold and the rain pouring not a typical Californian day but great warmth at Cody's. The atmosphere is good and the service is excellent. Plenty of choices for Breakfast. We had the Crab Cake benedict which was very tasty. Great place to start the day, only drawback is everyone else has the same idea so you might have to wait... More

First of all the location of this restaurant is outstanding, I was here in January and though a little chilly, it was fabulous to be able to sit outside and take in the "vibe" of an ocean side town. The staff were excellent, chatty, attentive and responsive, those small coffee cups need refilling. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, I had the... More

On our journey from San Diego to Newport Beach with our daughter and son-in-law, we stopped to take in the scenery at La Jolla. After checking out the scenery, taking many pictures, we decided to stop at Cody's for brunch. After a short wait, we were seated at one of the outdoor tables, and had a wonderful meal. Our waiter,... More

Cody’s offers “breakfast all day” to those who like breakfast any time of day and a nice, compact menu of other offerings. We enjoyed the calamari fries which included the largest cuts of calamari I ever recall having. We also shared the Grilled Chicken on Ciabatta and were delighted to have a large portion of chicken covered with some great... More

This is a wonderful small restaurant in La Jolla to start your day. Most of the breakfast selections are gourmet and include a generous portion of fresh fruits. We had the French toast and the crab cakes. We enjoyed both entrees as well as the coffees. Service was very good. We were able to eat outside with an ocean view.... More

The food is always great and the view of the La Jolla Bay is beautiful. If you are ever in La Jolla and looking for a place to have breakfast or lunch I highly recommend Cody's.

I ordered the regular burger which was delicious, but when my girlfriend gave me a bite of her vegi burger I was even more impressed. As she gets vegi burgers throughout town, this is definitely the best I may have ever enjoyed. Not just in San Diego, but period.
