At George's there is a beautiful scenic view of the world-famous La Jolla Cove--see kayakers, small boats and off course people swimming while enjoying this ambiance have a great selection of meals. Simple salads, soups, sliders, or any meal. As the weather is so warm...More

We decided to go to George's on a friend's request while visiting the area for a couple of days. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our cocktails were not great and expensive, which is the trend in La Jolla. I ordered their version of...More

Gorgeous views, delicious food and you will not be disappointed! Make sure your reservation is early enough to enjoy the sunset! The calamari appetizer is to die for! Would definitely go back.

I was in San Diego visiting my son. A friend suggested this place and it was great. Loved their bean soup and we both had salads that were excellent. We did not have desserts but they looked wonderful.

We sat on the roof, like many others watching the sun set on the horizon, briefly turning the sky red and then a flash of green. The atmosphere was excellent, the wait staff were attentive but not standing there waiting to push us out of...More

Gorgeous location and good food. Wish the guacamole portion was a little bigger! Short rib panini was good, tacos were yummy. But really the view is the highlight here. Service was good.

Beautiful, warm San Diego weather on the rooftop. Seated promptly with reservation. Highly recommend if you don’t want to wait! Would’ve preferred table along glass but we were told it would be a 30-45 min wait. :/ Serrano Margaritas are the bomb! Great atmosphere and...More

Spectacular views of the Pacific and food to match. Definitely would return, but be sure to make a reservation, as it gets really busy.

You will see a little of everything. It is California! I would highly recommend the rooftop dining. The view is amazing. There is a breeze, but they also have heaters they can put by your table.

We had to park on a side-street just down the road. It wasn't far and there was no charge.

Description
George's at the Cove is a renowned three-level dining destination located in the heart of La Jolla overlooking the Pacific Ocean and northern coastline. We offer three distinct restaurant and bar concepts – one fine dining and two casual – with stunning ocean views and award-winning cuisine. Known for its splendid rooftop setting, the popular George’s Ocean Terrace – complete with a newly expanded and elevated bar – offers casual al fresco fare for lunch and dinner that is perfectly complemented by sweeping ocean views. Recently reinvented from floor to ceiling, the all-new George’s Level2 – located on the second level – is elevating the craft of cocktails with housemade ingredients and handcut ice. Featuring all the classics and innovative modern creations, like the signature Sea3, Level2 offers a variety of cocktails well-suited to any taste. On the lower level, George's California Modern is a contemporary fine dining restaurant and bar featuring seasonally-driven California cuisine. Guests are invited to explore “San Diego on a plate” through a la carte or tasting menus inspired by the lifestyle, ingredients and sense of place that is San Diego. Whether celebrating a special occasion or simply looking to enjoy the San Diego lifestyle to its fullest, George’s at the Cove is an essential part of any visit to the region.
