Great little café, bakery and restaurant. Great sandwiches, great scones. Hidden in La Jolla but a must!

Scones here are excellent! I had not planed to get any; however, there was a mix up with my tea order and the staff very graciously made up for it with 2 free scones. Lovely little shop; highly recommed this coffee shop/bakery over the normal "chain" coffee shops.

The cranberry scone was so fresh and wonderful! Real cranberries. Not craisins. The cinnamon roll was the best I've ever tasted! The frosting is so good. Not too sweet. Fresh cinnamon. The latte was very good too. Love the patio along the street to relax and enjoy the sun and treats. Definitely try this place if you are in La... More

My friends and I love this place. We usually meet at least 4 to 5 times a week. Everything is delicious. I love their smoothies.

Discovered this little gem on one of our walks. Staff is super-friendly, food is delicious, though menu a bit limited. The interior is cramped, especially during peak hours, the patio outdoor seating is helpful. The coffee scones are fantastic, the granola outstanding (they even ship it!), kids had lox and bagel and loved it. The sunrise sandwich (actually a croissant)... More

Plethora of delightful, healthy and decadent choices. Wooden antique look, close but friendly crowd of business suits plus active leisure ladies chattering. Friendly, helpful and efficient behind the counter service. Go!

Good sandwiches, soups. Fast service and loved the outdoor seating. The place was right across from the office I was visiting, so was very convenient and good vegetarian sandwich too.

We enjoyed our coffee and tea with a delicious scone while sitting outside and doing some people watching! Great choices of size and variety of scones-I can't imagine you not finding one you loved! We did!

You can rush through breakfast or sit at one of the outside tables and enjoy reading your paper. I had a sunrise sandwich - egg, cheese, bacon and tomato on a croissant with a cup of coffee for under $5. Quick, friendly service.
