Wish I could add to the positive reviews but I would NEVER waste my money on this restaurant again! We have never been to this area of California before but are here for a week and have had many stellar meals in the La Quinta area (phenomenal dinners at Cork and Fork, lavender Bistro, Morgan's), even our lunches at Stuft... We ate at the Cliffhouse on our last night of vacation. It was fabulous. The waitstaff was excellent and the food and drink was superb. I especially enjoyed the Sea Bass-- very tender and moist with excellent flavor--i think it was bit of green curry. Delish! I would definitely go back!

We had 5pm reservations and were seated in the regular dining room so we could enjoy the sunset over the mountains. Service and food were excellent. My husband had the simply grilled salmon and I went for the salmon that was rather sweet. The presentation was amazing and we had enough to take home for another meal! Parking is by... More

Dine outside under the stars and moonlight...next to the cliff, with bronze statues of the bighorn sheep, amidst a glowing fireplace. Great bar and the food is excellent, time and time again. A full parking lot tells it all!

A group of about 12 from a Meetup met for dinner at Cliffhouse on Saturday night. We were seated outdoors with a heatlamp nearby that was actually too warm for a very mild evening which is typical low desert weather in February. Otherwise the setting was very pleasant with the artificial, but attractive-looking, rock facings in the background. The food... More

Had dinner with friends here recently. The wine list was very nice (Wed. was 50% 0ff wine nite), the menu was very interesting. Our meal was excellent and the service was amazing from Laurie and Devon. Can't wait to go back again.

I have been coming to the Cliff House for 3 years now. I usually go for the early bird specials as it is $20.xx for 2 courses. I really have enjoyed the salmon and the flank steak is excellent, however last nights BBQ ribs were over done. What I really like about the place is the ambiance. I have always... More

We have gone here for Happy Hour several times and it never disappoints. The Valet parking system is superb and no charge. You can sit outside or inside or on a heated patio. The Happy Hour items are the same as what is served at dinner just 1/2 price. Who doesn't like that. Highly recommend for either dinner or Happy... More
