Food is yummy here. All presented with a French Flair. Mussels and steak frites are especially good. Great place for lunch with your girl friends or happy hour with another couple.

Old school French bistro which makes zero concession to it's California desert location. Four of us shared the steak tartare (large size) and a foie gros special as appetizers and that was plenty of food for four. I had the liver for my entree -- it was traditionally prepared and very good. The wine list is reasonably priced and we... More
We've eaten at the Brasserie 3 times in the last two months. The service is always friendly and prompt, without being "pushy". The food is great, with a good selection of different items. We've also taken some of our "foodie" friends in the past and they love it as well!
We went to the La Brasserie for lunch with our Son and his wife prior to attending Desert Trip and found a menu with many options, wonderful daily specials and service that was excellent. Our food came quickly and we were entertained by a fashion show from a neighboring business. Prices were higher than our normal lunch places but the... More
The best place we went to during "Desert Trip". The French onion soup was the real thing and the vegan Cobb salad was awesome and I'm not vegan, just watching my calories. I would eat that every single day! The only thing I found fault with was that he vichyssoise was a smidge bland. The walled courtyard was very pleasant... More
Food was excellent. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is the service. They tend to seat everyone is one section, then when that fills up, they start another. It gets very noisy in the one section and if they would spread diners out among the other seating, it would not be as noisy. Also, they had... More
Dinner last night with group of 12. Beautiful quiet restaurant in LaQuinta. Interesting Bar selection. Escargot was served very nice, French Onion soup ordered by almost everyone, no one disappointed. Pork Chop, Mussels and Steak were well done. Service was great.
This French restaurant is the best in the desert. Never have I been disappointed with anything I have ordered. The pork chop is huge and tasty and I enjoy the steak frite. Everything is delicious!! And save room for dessert; they are also delicious.
This restaurant is in a shopping area and hard to find. It offers only indoor dining. The service was good and the food only just above average and quite passable but definitely not memorable.
