Visited with my wife while walking in the town. Had simple light lunch of soup, salad and grilled artichokes. Soup and salad were excellent but the artichokes could have been better. To be honest the artichokes at Cheesecake factory are better. However, the service was excellent and had overall very pleasant lunch experience. We will be back for another lunch... More

We had a delicious dining experience at Nicks. The Cioppiono (similar to a seafood soup) was one of the best meals I've ever eaten. Nicks is a bustling place but the service is still great. Definitely book beforehand.

We enjoyed our last evening in Laguna Beach at Nicks. We walked in early (5:30) without a reservation and were able to snag a table 30 mins later. There's a unique "belly up" bar (no stools) next door to pass the time away. The petit salad was one of the best ever --flavored & seasoned just right. We loved the... More

My wife and I stopped in at Nick's on a rainy afternoon. It was a late lunch that turned into an early dinner. We sampled a few tapas which were outstanding. The drinks were well prepared old fashioned cocktails that were memorable. We enjoyed the service and the fellow customers so much we stayed for dinner as well. Great spot.

Wait staff is always great. Never had a bad meal. With reservations, you get seated within minutes. Yes, it is more "bar" volume inside so if you are looking for quiet, not the place for you.

We stopped here for drinks on a business trip and they rocked! We each had a martini and the bar is great (it's sits in the middle of the restaurant so there is lots of scenery). We didn't eat dinner here but the menu looked good and the place was packed on a December Friday night.

Service was great and food was great. You need to try the meatloaf! The staff knows the food very well. They always seem to be busy.

We had a reservation at this very busy spot. We were seated on time. The atmosphere is fun and energetic. The menu has so many choices, and everything was delicious. The artichoke appetizer and asparagus fries were fantastic starters. Dinners were great, and the Buttercake dessert was out of this world. Service was outstanding. Can't wait for next visit.

My family and I had dinner at Nick's during our recent vacation in Laguna Beach. The service, food, and atmosphere at the restaurant were all excellent. Service - the wait staff was very attentive and did a great job of taking care of us. Our requests were attended to promptly even though the restaurant was completely full. Our food both... More

Went to Nick's/Laguna Beach for lunch, and had a wonderful meal. Service was excellent; ambience was energetic and fun; the food was delicious. Had the "Blackened Fish Sandwich," which was Mahi-Mahi on the day I visited. It was a BIG sandwich; great value! Will definitely return.
