We enoyed the friendly atmosphere at this no frills Mexican restaurant. It's very centrally located on El Toro Road. They provide a good meal for a reasonable price. The staff coordinate with each other like a family. The enchiladas and chimichanga were delicious. We especially enjoyed the flan swimming in Kaluha and jamaica beverage. We feel the low price makes... More
Love that its sort of a hole in the wall restaurant. Loved the enchalidas and carne asada was fair. Crispy taco has shreadded beef but also available with pork or chicken. Service was good and they have a full bar. I'll go back again and try some other items .
I have eaten at this restaurant for many years. The owner Mario is always friendly and staff provide great service. I especially like the beef combo Brurrito served wet. It is located on El Toro Road at Raymond Street a few blocks east of I-5 in Lake Forest (Shopping center on right side of street.)
This is a family restaurant and they specialize in a few dishes I enjoy. My favorite is the Chile Verde dinner plate with rice and beans. The pork is tender and moist the fat removed and the spices are very mild which I enjoy. They have very good Chile Reallano, and enchiladas and tacos the basics. their refried bean vary... More
This was my first visit to this restaurant, but a regular at his other one in San Juan Capo. It was very nice, great service, and incredibly clean. My meal this just two crispy carnitas was just amazing. So much flavor in the meat.
If you want authentic ... this is the place. I honestly do not know what more to say on this. I have friends or mine that have taken their clients (from Mexico) to this restaurant and they have all said "you can bring me back here anytime". I think that speaks volumes in and of itself.
Great POTATO taco's enjoyed by my wife and myself on several Tuesdays! Nice pork or beef taco's also. CRISPY taco only is GREAT!. Add a plate of beans and rice and two beers-LESS than $20!!!!
Seven family members met here March 6th to celebrate a birthday. The restaurant had at least 5 other parties of our size or more. Mario was our waiter. Kind, friendly and very helpful with the menu. Taco Salad was $10.95. Burrito, De Asada De Pollo was 8.95 and wet added 2.50. Chicken Fajitas were 16.95. Breakfast Burrito was 7.95. Huevos... More
