Breakfast is the best meal here, especially if you're staying at the Resort. They have 3 choices for cabin breakfasts for $5. Lunch and dinner include all the basic choices of hamburgers, hot dogs, and chilli, plus about 4 dinner entrees. The dinners are gigantic, but for $5 extra, you can share an entrée and get another soup or salad.

The cafe near Tioga Pass is a must stop for breakfast or coffee and pie while heading into Yosemite from Lee Vining, which is on the East Side of the Park. The food looked excellent, the servers and customers looked happy, and I enjoyed the coffee, which I took outside to enjoy. The rock music was a little loud which... More

So many places in this area that are great to stop at - this is one of the best for an authentic experience. Will leave the rest for you to discover.

Please do not listen to Matt C. He could not be more wrong! Just because a place does not have steak, it should not be rated poor across the board. We camped nearby and had several meals here. Had a hamburger-MEDIUM no problem. Also had the Pot Roast and it was moist and tasty. And the pie...was the best I... More

Good food, good service, good price at a nice location 10000ft elevation. Avoid Tuolumne meadows and dine here is you can. Can easily get crowded though!

We sat down at one of the tables, and was disappointed by the menu. There are no steaks, and only an overcooked pot roast that did not look very appetizing. When I asked about ordering a hamburger "medium rare," we were told that they only cook "well done". Almost always, when a restaurant refused to cook to order, this is... More

I know what you're thinking, EWWW, meatloaf?? I thought the same thing but I was dining with friends that ALWAYS stop here for food when they're on the east side of Yosemite. I order the lunch portion which comes as a sandwich with grilled tomato and pepper jack cheese on sourdough and it was delicious! I ordered the chocolate pecan... More

We have stayed here, and we have dined here over the years, but we never pass by without some of TPR's pie. Bob, the pie maker has been doing it for 15-20 years, and he knows what he is doing. So did his predecessors - we have eaten here for decades. This time we had the Blackberry, as well as... More

My husband, son and I made the trek up the mountain to try this out. Short wait, and friendly staff. There were no kid options, so I got the $22 meatloaf and mashed potatoes knowing he'd eat that. Broccoli and cheese soup I chose as a side was delicious. The meatloaf was not. The first few bites were cold and... More
