George owns several restaurants in the area and if you are lucky he will greet you and give you a welcoming hug. He appreciates his guests!

We love this place, and so do many locals. It is ultra-casual, but the food is very good at a reasonable price. Service is quick and friendly. There are many outdoor tables available, and the weather in Long beach is usually great, so try it....More

Unfamiliar with downtown Long Beach’s eateries, and looking for a decent dinner before the symphony on Saturday night without having booked anywhere in advance, we wandered into George’s Greek Café. At around 5 p.m. it was still relatively empty, but by the time we left...More

I have reviewed this place before and dont normally go and review a second time unless the experience was substantially different, but this the exception. As always the food is excellent - on this occasion we had hummus, a burger, the stuffed steak, and lentil...More

The vegetarian appetizer was amazing, didnt like those chicken sandwiches, too soaked in yogurt. We have sat outside for the dinner, it was cool, and playing some oriental music.

Ate here for lunch on a whim. The gyro was good but the rice pilaf was bland. We did enjoy sitting outside and watching the world go by, however. Guess I just didn't order the right thing, as all the other reviews are so glowing.

We sat out on Saturday and listened to music from Bo Beau. Great prices but would have preferred a Miller Lite (they only had Bud Light on happy hour).we even got to meet George! He was awesome!

George's has something for everyone. Its food is tasty with great variety. The service is very good, and it's not in the very heart of Belmont Shore, so it's quieter. My husband and I have eaten there several times, and my girlfriends and I have...More

Description
George's Greek Cafe welcomes you to "a little piece of Greece in Southern California." Our family-owned business is here to provide you with high quality food, craft cocktails, and an authentic Greek dining experience. Our restaurant has remained a favorite among the locals for one reason: we never compromise on our promise to provide fresh and delicious meals in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. We continue to follow Mama Rodou's recipes, which were passed down to her from her grandmother. We use only the finest imported ingredients, such as first cold pressed extra virgin olive oil from Greece and premium, hormone-free, grass-fed lamb from New Zealand. We want to extend an open invitation to you to dine at one of our restaurants. Whether you're looking to impress a date with an intimate wine tasting, reconnecting with family over Saganaki Flaming Cheese and lamb chops, or planning the perfect wedding reception for 500 of your closest friends, we are here for you. Come in, and feel like part of the family. OPA!
