Enriques' was across the road from our hotel so it was nice and close. The menu was full or a variety, but we thought the prices were really high. We were seated in the last table in the rear of the restaurant around the corner from the single bathroom. There was a constant line behind me and the odor was... More

We hadn't eaten at Enrique's for a good 2 years, mainly because we normally can't stomach the guaranteed 20+ minute wait to get in (they don't take reservations, and it's always very popular), but we decided to give it another try. On this cool Thursday night at 7:30 there was only a 10 minute wait, which was reasonable. The restaurant... More

My food was good and so we're all my friends. The flan was also worth while. But do not get the margarita. The $5 should have tipped me off since they usually run twice that price. It tasted like it came from a slushy machine and I tasted no tequila. Kinda ruined the experience. The server was great though!

As most Mexican restaurant food is regional to the various locations in Mexico, the regional food this restaurant offers is absolutely so much different than most Mexican restaurants you visit. Chili Verde, chili Colorado, pork shank, and Milanese, round out a diverse menu with excellent service. I highly recommend you eat here.

Overall, the experience and our meals were pretty average. The saving grace to move this place high on our list was the salsa. We asked the waitress for the "secret recipe." She told us that the veggies are roasted. Definitely made all the difference. Would have eaten a bucket of that stuff! This restaurant is one of many in a... More

Pricier compared to other Mexican restaurants. Service 5+ stars. Parking tight for larger vehicles. Restaurant is small but very popular. Several friends/co-workers recommended this place and to try the Pork Shank ($18.50), not on the menu but it was outstanding. Meat fell off the bone and their sauce was the perfect complement. Rice was fresh & moist. While menu was... More

While you can get the standards , which are very good they also do great salads. Try the revuelta, serves two and is great. The posole soup is great. The pork shank is dynamite and try ordering sautéed carrots or corn instead of beans of rice. The carrots are super and are great with rice and chicken enchilada. Have never... More

So happy this gem was open on Labor Day! It's a small establishment. So big parties wouldn't be ideal. But we have been coming here when we want really good Mexican food. Your greeted by the front hostess and then your waiter comes and brings you chips and salsa without you even have to ask for it. We got the... More

My friend and I really enjoyed our food and service. I recommend the Chicken Veracruz. There is enough for 2. She ordered the Spinach Salad and it is wonderful and huge. The appetizer we ordered was Eggplant and it was fantastic. I have never had a bad meal here but you must go early or be prepared to wait a... More

In Southern California, there are thousands of good Mexican restaurants. But where can you go for tasty, authentic, Mexican food like you would eat at the someone's home? ENRIQUE'S is the place chosen by many “locals.” Home style restaurants aren't often known for five star gourmet meals. Enrique's menu features “down home” recipes like pork roast on the bone and...
