Nice little local spot for some Peruvian food. I enjoyed it and thought it was cozy and had a fair menu send service. We had the pulpo al olivo which was a pleasing appetizer. The bistec a lo pobre was decent and enjoyable. The pescado a la chorrillana (halibut) was my favorite item on our table. There was a hiccup... More

The place was lovely with a romantic atmosphere. The food was excellent and the anticuchos were delicious, I felt like being in Lima. We also ate arroz con mariscos, that was perfectly prepare. Highly recomended!

The staff were nice enough and the space was inviting. However, the food was kind of greasy and lacked any real flavor, which was disappointing because the menu looked interesting. I had the nachos and the barbacoa portobello tacos. Nothing was awful, but nothing stood out. I didn't drink, but the cocktails looked good.

I arrived at the restaurant with 3/4 empty tables. In my car, went on Open Table to see they had plenty of open reservations. Went into the restaurant only to be told I couldn't be seated because they had people coming in shortly with reservations (for ALL those empty tables)...then went on Open Table right in front of her and... I visited Los Balcones with my friend and her husband. We had a few starters to begin with. Then we had our main courses. Everything from the food and service was beyond excellent! The decor and atmosphere made this restaurant an ideal place to dine out! I would definitely recommend and return to this restaurant when I return to LA!... More

My friends and I had dinner here and it was the couple who has never been to Peru that didn't enjoy it as much. But I think it's because they did not have Peruvian food before and kept comparing it to Mexican food that didn't let them enjoy it. As for me, I ordered the Arroz con Mariscos while the... More

Loved this cute little venue! It may not have looked much from the outside - but once inside, the mixture of cosy, authentic and urban cool won me over. The colorful flower arrangements in red and pink hues disposed on each table really stood out and contributed in creating a fresh, romantic set up. I liked my Chilcano cocktail (pisco,... More

I go to Peru a few times a year. I was surprised at how good this place is!! Very authentic with a southwestern grill twist. We gobbled up everything and it will definitely be a place I return whenever I'm Los Angeles. Very satisfied !!!
