Went to McKay's at the Radisson across Figueroa Street from the USC campus after a professional society meeting. At 6 pm the place was pretty busy and crowded. The service at the bar was good and the hors d'orves were generally good and came out rather quickly. It was rather expensive though. We did enjoy the atmosphere and everyone had... More

This place is attached to the Radisson Midtown at USC hotel. Thus, it was a good place to have breakfast and dinner. The menu was a bit limited for dinner. For breakfast, one time after seating we had to wait for a long time before a server appeared. The food itself was good.

I have been here for many school events. The food is ok. Not good but acceptable. The price is a bit high. However, the biggest issue is the service. It takes forever for the food to come out. Also, there are mess ups. I am quite amazed that things have not changed for almost four years. I understand that they... More

We stopped by here for drinks and a light dinner before concert. Very loud in the bar area. They were super busy and messed up my order but whatever. Waiter was very kind. I wouldn't call it a destination restaurant but OK if you are staying next door.

Pros: convenient and fairly priced at $9-13. Cons: poor service staff, just not the right personality for waiting tables. Hash browns were way over cooked, slightly burnt. Ham was so salty it was inedible.

Breakfast was included with our stay at the Radisson USC. We had the buffet. There was a good variety of fruit and yogurt. We found the scrambled eggs were cold. I enjoyed the hash browns and sausages. my kids had bacon and waffles. well worth while,

We actually dined here twice while in LA in mid January. This spot was chosen for a meet-up before Van Morrison concerts at the Shrine, two nights back to back. McKay's is just a couple minutes walk from the Shrine. We dined in the bar/lounge area as we did not have reservations. It was incredibly busy and we found it... More
