Did not have a great experience here. First, the restaurant is not on Wilshire Boulevard even though that is the address. We wasted 15 minutes looking for it. (It is actually across from the back of the Hammer Museum.) Second, the service was fine at the start but then was terrible. Even though the restaurant was mostly empty, we waited... More

Hello BrooklynTraveler4, I'm so sorry for the confusion with our location! We're on the back side of the building and unfortunately only have one address to navigate to. Even though our address is noted on most websites with the proper intersection (corner of Glendon and Lindbrook, across the street from the Hammer), you are definitely not the first to have... More

The restaurant was not busy and we asked for a window seat. The hostess said they were all reserved. To our surprise no one was seated in our requested area the whole time we were there. Tainted the whole experience as the food and service were good. They need to realize first impressions are everything

Thank Kristin C
Management response:

Hello Kristin, I'm so sorry we weren't able to get you one of our coveted window seats. Please contact me the next time you're looking to dine with us, and we'll make sure to reserve one for you. We look forward to seeing you soon! Brittany Palensky bpalensky@r-u-i.com 310-208-1960 More

We stopped in a little after they opened looking for an early dinner. They confirmed they were serving, but we kept on getting the "just a minute..." several times while trying to get seated. After 10 minutes another potential customer enduring the same pain mentioned that the restaurant across the street was very good. So we left and ended up... More

I came to Palomino for dinner after swearing off about a year ago. I guess I am a slow learner because it was as mediocre as before. First, when I walked in the door there was a young short Asian woman who was so snippy, maybe she thought she was in a 5 star in Beverly Hills. She was clear... More

We were staying in a nearby hotel and didn't know where to go for dinner. We came across this place and we weren't disappointed. Even though the restaurant looked quite busy, the service was outstanding. Both our server and the manager were very friendly and attentive. Both my husband and I had the steak and our desserts were AMAZING!

Not the first visit, and won't be my last! Friendly staff, good burgers and a nice variety of beers for different tastes. Some big screens with golden globes (were just on today) and sports.

We had dinner there, last night. It turned out to be a nightmare !! The crab cakes had been cooked in a smelly oil, the prime ribs were so salty, they were uneatable, and we had to wait 20 minutes for our desserts !!! Had the place been full, it could have been an excuse, but it was far from... More

I am with my family staying at W Hotel for holiday. I searched trip advisor and I found Palomino. The server, Levy, is fantastic! The food was surprisingly excellent! We ordered the seafood pasta, paella, short ribs, and clam linguini. They turned out to be so delicious! By the way you can skip the Espresso, Irish coffee and mushroom soup!... More

A bit on the noisy side.....cavernous feel to the ambience.....cool by the windows in winter......In spite of those drawbacks we enjoyed our dinner. The three of us started with Sausage and Mushroom Pizza (very good), One person enjoyed her Caesar Salad. I loved the pork chop and the other person in our party said that the Peppercorn Salmon was good.... More

Management response:

We're so glad you enjoyed the Italian Sausage and Mushroom Pizza, it's a guest favorite. If you can make it back this holiday season, try the Egg Nog Martini - it is a wonderful winter cocktail! More

Had lunch with a friend and loved the pizza and excellent martini. Service was great. We were free to sit and enjoy the food for as long as we wanted

Management response:

Our wood-fired oven gives the pizza crust a crisp, charred texture which is perfect for any pizza lover. Thank you for the review! More
