The ambience is great. Being greeted with a stunning display of macaroons is a good start. I had dinner at the bar, and would recommend the pear martini and arugula salad. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. MUST have a macaroon for dessert!

My husband and I were visiting Los Angeles recently and stayed downtown. We were referred to Bottega Louie for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. This was the best recommendation i have ever had for lunch. We walked in and found the restaurant hopping...More

My wife and I had to kill some time while her jewelry was being repaired. The owner of Asik jewelry recommended it to us. The place was fairly busy for a mid day lunch. We were seated right away. Service was quick and the food...More

This is a must for every visit to LA. This was our first time there for brunch and it was simply magnificent! The smoked salmon was some of the best I've ever had, perfectly served on toast that was not too crisp, not too chewy,...More

Our family frequents Bottega Louie, as we adore their pastries & have had consistently excellent experiences there for both brunch and lunch. However, this time we went for dinner. The first cause of concern for me was when I looked in the pastry display cases....More

What a find! Outstanding restaurant in downtown Los Angeles, not far from Staple Center. Italian influenced, this is a great place for family or group of friends. In an older (updated) building, this large restaurant can be loud when busy. Food is outstanding with great...More

Lunch here is great. The dining area has high ceilings that gives it a grand feeling. Pizzas are good and try the portobello mushroom fries (highly recommended). Needless to say the desserts are vast and varied. You can't go wrong with their popular macarons!

It has an impressive facade and location, as well as the relatively higher prices expected for a restaurant of its class and reputation. However, the menu items (we were there for breakfast) was okay but average at best. There's no wow factor nor can I...More

I went there with 5 other people, we were accommodated at a big, round table. We ordered a variety of different things, including brussel sprouts, pesto gnocchi and bruschetta for appetizers, followed by delicious pasta bolognese and amazing shrimp dish. One person had a pizza...More

Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering
buildings, bustling streets, and industrial
warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of
cultures here with a growing influx of business
professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of
Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts,
bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly.
Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants
