Great selection, fresh and affordable. Nice atmosphere, comfy booths and the service with a smile was excellent. Now I did go in for a late lunch at 230pm so service may be different during rush hours. And I'm leaving full with enough food for dinner. $13! I'll be back everytime I visit! Oh, the bathroom was private and clean, very... More
When I want to present something new and different here is where I bring them. The bezillions of salads and the grilled meats are fantastic.
I popped in here for lunch last week when I was in the area. This place used to be good but not anymore. I ordered the baby chicken legs and mashed potatoes. I wanted the avocado dip but do you know what they offered me instead? Fried cauliflower! The pickled vegetables were good but the chicken was awful. It was... More
i was probably the only shagetz in the entire restaurant. I went there with my husband (Israeli Jew) and his ex-partner (Persian Jew). I must say the bread served was excellent. it was a flat bread, somewhat like a flower tortilla. It is called sa'atar! The lamb skewers were succulent. I did not care for the beef sausage. I was... I wish we had one where we lived. The food and service was incredible. Kebabs and skewers are to die for. And someone in the back is an absolute artist when it comes to dessert. I would recommend it again and again. Our best meal in two weeks in LA.
Excellent food, nice ambiance, good service. The food was very tasty, we tried several appetizers, all of them were very good.. Whole roasted eggplant is our favorite. For the main course, rib-eye burger and lamb chops we will highly recommend.
A local friend convinced me to make the trek out to Encino to try out Itzik Hagadol, and I'm glad she did. As far as Middle Easter and Israeli cuisine goes, it's one of the best I've found anywhere in the world. While service was a little slow on a busy night, the food was amazing and the general atmosphere... More
We had the assortment of salads, some tastier than others. We also had the mains of grilled meats (steak and lamb chops fatty) and schnitzel (too dry). Desserts were less than average: nicely presented but just flavorless sweets. Service was good, wine was good, atmosphere of a dining room at Catskills. Prices higher than what I would expect to pay... More
This place is awesome! This was my second time and i can't wait for my next chance to come here. With the tons of scrumptious small plates and terrific grilled meat you can close your eyes and imagine that you are back in Israel! Yum!
