I understand the kosher cooking has it requirements however, $49.00 for three tacos, a salad and one coke is simple ridiculous. The same amount of food is served at Chipotle for $21.70. Neither the taste, decor nor ambiance excuse the horribly high price for the food. They certainly did not win a new customer!

Dude from top chef cashing in on his 5! minutes of fame. (Wannabe celebrity chef) Order at the counter, sit and eat or take out. Limited seating-communal (5 tables with seating for 6). A couple of outdoor tables too. 3 small tacos: $17. Way Too Expensive. Beans- not blank but not brown lacked flavor as did the yellow rice. Average... More

Heard raves about Mexikosher. Liked the idea of it being kosher + authentic Mexican - owner is a Mexican chef who is not Jewish) and that ordering is a 3 step process that allows you lots and lots of choices among many different types of meat and very fresh and interesting salads, toppings, beans, etc... This also allows you to... More

One recent reviewer entitled the review "Really Great Mexican Food." Really? Not my experience --- I thought it was a poor excuse for Mexican food --- perhaps limited because it is a kosher establishment. The guacamole was sub-par at best. My entrée was minimally acceptable. The chips were fine and the bottled water may have been the high point of... More

Judging by the adds I expected to see a real restaurant, but it's more like fast food franchise. The food was delicious and prepared fast, but it's not a place I would have a business meeting at. Another advantage of the place is that it is open late at night, till 11PM, I think. Note, although not a fault of... More

Along the lines of the Chipotle concept without the assembly line. If you order steak or chicken, they have to take the time to slice it. For a party of 7 it took about 15 minutes to get our food. That said, the cooks are nice and the food extremely well seasoned. loved the pickled vegetables.

We stopped in for some Kosher Mexican Food, as we have some family members who keep kosher. The food was very reasonably priced and delicious. We had some of their tacos. Their salsa are also very good. I would definitely dine here again.

On only in LA for a few days and found myself going Mexican, eating fish tacos at the fish grill and at Mexikosher. I had the Birria tacos which was a combination of beef and lamb with all the fixings! There were many fresh salsa to choose from including the tomato habanero which was hot! My wife stuck with the... The concept is simple: Choose one of five bases (for example, salad, rice, taco, burrito) and add one of five types of meat ( meat, chicken, duck, lamb, etc) Add beans and rice. Garnish with a bit of guacamole. Ole! That's it. I had the meat atop salad and was expecting at least a few pieces of meat. Big mistake.... More
