You order and pay at the counter and are served at your table in this informal cafe in Hollywood. The roast chicken and turkey are home-cooked, and the staff says that everything else is also of high quality. We enjoyed an excellent chicken baguette, a salad and terrific iced coffee, and we observed other plates being carried out from the... More

We stopped here for a quick breakfast before our flight. We had seen this place when we were in Hollywood once before. We were really glad we stopped. The employees were very attentive. I had the chicken and cheese panini. My boyfriend got the same thing with turkey bacon and sun dried tomatoes. Our daughter got the chicken and brie... More

I like writing reviews and lately it seems I'm writing a lot of positive reviews but it's only because I just realized I never seem to write reviews about the places I love the most, that I've been coming to for years - I've taken them for granted. But I go to Caffe Etc a few times a week. Their... More

Needed a quick spot for breakfast before getting the metro to Universal Studios. Was almost going to have to go to Starbucks near by but thankfully found his place - nice fruit bowl and sandwich - exactly what we needed

Everything good but that note at the door, basically saying you shouldn't spend too much time at their place and use their wireless is a no-go! So you keep thinking that at one point they'll ask you to leave if you stayed for too long...also, service could be slightly friendlier.

I loved the vibe of this cafe, and the tables are great for working and people watching. My chai latte was delicious! I also ordered an omelet with goat cheese, spinach, mushrooms ... and was not blown away. The food was okay, but lacked any sort of seasoning. The baristas were nice and service was prompt.

It does nice breakfast food, brightly windowed, a bit away from the areas tourist tat. Quirky staff are pleasant, manageress seems a bit sour ... Not a bad option

You'd think there would be more wonderful coffee joints in Hollywood, with all of its recent renovation. There just aren't! My friend was visiting from London, and I wanted to walk to a local coffee place where I didn't have to walk through somewhere too funky. I searched on line til my eyes nearly fell out! So I settled on... More

Stopped in for a quick coffee and the owner was very chatty and nice. They also have a great selection of other beverages and juices.

Staying in Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
