Had brunch at Sunny Spot on Sunday morning around 10 am - lovely little spot!! Food was phenomenal & the cocktails were out of this world. Service was a bit slow, as to be expected on a busy Sunday morning. Bit on the pricey end for brunch, but had to treat myself for vacation.

Loud but good. Great selections of interesting brunch items and things to wash it down. Prices normal and nice place.

Thoroughly enjoyed brunching here to celebrate my son's soon-to-be bride in early October, Service was impeccable and the food was tasty. The staff cheerfully rearranged tables to accommodate our rather large party and although we weren't all able to sit at the same table, we were close enough to talk to one another. We weren't rushed out of the space... More

Came here for breakfast and sat outside. Friendly service, nice decor and good vibe. Food is passable but not great and plenty of other options but on the plus side they take reservations. Valet 7.50$, steep like everywhere around there. Not the best option around

I came here for a friends birthday with a party of 6 for Sunday brunch. When we pulled up to the restaurant there was a long line of people waiting to be seated. Luckily we had a reservation and we were seated relatively quickly. We ordered our drinks and I was very excited to learn that they offered bottomless Mimosas,... More

Great spot on the intersection of Washington and Abott-Kinney. Nice, sunny terrace for day-time food and drinks, and good enough menu for evening dining.

Service was on point, food was great. Just be prepared for the noise of happy people to be bouncing around the walls! There was a queue when we arrived but they have a good system going and we certainly didn't feel rushed out the door for the reminding queue when we left.

It's nice to enjoy breakfast at the outside seating. The food and portion was just right. It has some interesting dishes on the menu that's worth trying.

All the reviews we read led us to try this spot. The lunch cocktails were a mixed experience - the beet root tasted like dirt, but the citrus drink was good. Our sandwiches were also mixed - one was extremely spicy which had not been indicated on the menu, and the other 'burger ' was enjoyable.

We had pancakes and fruit which were really nice, water was also provided. The atmosphere is great, more like a daytime bar than a cafe - cute inside decor and tables available outside. Friendly service

Staying in Venice

Neighbourhood Profile
Venice has always danced to its own beat as the epicenter of bohemian culture in Los Angeles. Along the boardwalk there are street performers and local craftsmen selling their wares. Original paintings, souvenirs, and jewelry are on display. Crowds of visitors marvel at the sites while weightlifting enthusiasts pump iron in plain view, and skateboarders do their tricks around the skate park. All of it happens under the warm California sun with sprawling views of sand and sea. Heading east, the main drags of Abbot Kinney Boulevard and Main Street are lined with boutique shops, some major retail stores, art galleries and restaurants. Here the ambiance is more relaxed and upscale than the frenetic boardwalk area. Venice is a mostly walkable (and certainly bikeable) neighborhood, full of areas to explore.
