In it's heyday this was a gem on the Westside. They lost their liquor license, and then got it back. Tried it again and was very disappointed. The food was bland and lukewarm which is inexcusable because the dining room was 95% empty. Dead on...More

As a sister restaurant to Nawab in Santa Monica its inconceivable this restaurant is as bad as it is. Dishes were bland with no intensity of flavor. Bharta was dreadful. Chicken Tikka loaded with big globs of dark meat chicken. Topped off by lousy service...More

This was one of my first stops after landing at LAX. Bombay Café WAS great place for wonderful and aromatic South Indian dishes and street food you don't generally find in most US-based Indian restaurants. Sadly, the new management has totally changed the seasoning and...More

The food is very good, especially Chicken Tikka Masala was amazing. The Kheer desert was fantastic. The service was nice, but the atmospere wasn't good. It wasn't an Indian decoration, it wasn't modern or it wasn't luxury. But still, Bombay Cafe is a nice restaurant.
