Always dine on the patio:-) My favorite dish is the Ravioli in vodka sauce. It is the best ravioli I have ever had:-)

We were visiting friends who lived near here and they eat here all the time. All the meals were very good as was the service. Wish we lived near here we would definitely be here often
For basic Italian lunch or dinner, we often dine at Two Guys. But when we want the classy experience and the taste of Italian done to perfection -- there is none better than Alesio in Northridge. (They do have other locations, I believe, but this is the one we dine at.) The atmosphere is classy, albeit a little crowded. There... More
I recently had the pleasure, twice, of having dinner at Alessio on Reseda Boulevard in the north valley, and both times were thoroughly enjoyable. If you find yourself anywhere near here at dinner time, this place is worth a visit. Guests are greeted and seated immediately. Bruschetta is brought shortly after seating and is delicious. The menu is extensive with... More
We've been dining at this hidden gem for years. If you love garlic, you'll be amazed at how delicious everything tastes. Complimentary bruschetta and drinks are served immediately. Very ample portions of everything Italian, including nightly specials. My favorite is still the meaty lasagna, however their pesce, pollo, vitello dishes are amazing too. Big screen over the bar if you're... More
Overall we had a pretty good dining experience. The Tortellini con Panna e Prosciutto was well prepared, but I don't think the prosciutto was really prosciutto. I asked the owner about that and he explained that he uses prosciutto cotto and not prosciutto crudo. That might be true (maybe), but we have lived in italy for several years and to... More
Being a longtime Northridge resident, Alessio by default has become the place of choice for a nice dinner with local friends. Wait staff is very friendly and cordial. They have a versatile selection of good wines both by the bottle and the glass that are fairly priced by "good restaurant" standards. They also have a reasonable corkage fee when you... More
Alessio is actually in Northridge, in the San Fernando Valley. If you are anywhere in the Valley, it is worth coming here for lunch or dinner. The food and service is excellent. Dining inside or on the patio.
I don't live in the area, but was looking for a nice place for lunch to celebrate my son's graduation from Cal. St. Unv., Northridge (yippee!!). I read the online reviews and zeroed in on this place. From the initial phone contact Eddie was most willing to increase the reservation size as needed and I had phoned him several times... More
Time and tiem again we have enjoyed our meals and the wonderful service and ambience of Alessio's Restaraunt in Northridge. The food is always prepared perfectly and the portions are abundant and the prices reasonable. This is a truly great place to eat.
