There are few places to get a good Southern Indian mean in Los Angeles. This is one of them. The interior is small, warm and charming. You need to buzz from the outside to be admitted to the restaurant. On this Sunday night the restaurant was packed with people. The food is delicious and authentic. It had been a long... More

After being away for 3 weeks, we longed for south Indian food and after landing in LA, looked up trip advisor and picked this restaurant. Granted that it is Christmas Eve. But, the dosa was half cooked, tasteless, limited side dishes and very few menu choices. Thoroughly disappointed and would not go back here

it's tucked away ... and once you spot it, make sure you press the button on the gate for it to open. wouldn't call their dishes as authentic ... however they've tried hard. clean. affordable. am going back there for dosa, upma and madras filter coffee. even though I know the chef isn't an Indian 😄.

This is a vegetarian restaurant in the Sunset Blvd location, about 15 minutes walk from the Sunset Vermont metro station. The food was good, go for the combo deals if you want to try multiple dishes at once.

Paru’s is a South Indian restaurant situated on the main road but a little away from the busier areas of LA. We visited this place on Sunday night and had parking issues. It took us more than 15-20 min to find a spot in the area as they do not have a parking lot of their own. The ambience is... More

Me and my wife vistied this restaurant last year and it was an hidden treasure on the Sunset blvd. It was dark and first we went to a Middle eastern restaurant and realized that it was 4-5 course meal. That was too much for us. So while driving back to our hotel, we saw this place. The outside was scary... More

My family and I have been to our fair share of south Indian restaurants, this one was by far one to be remembered. We were on vacation in LA and this seemed to be the closest dosa place near Universal Studios, the outside looked a little scary, but it turned the coziest little restaurant. My dad said the sambar tasted... More

Worst Indian restaurant. Hopeless service. Don't believe these 4 star rating. I will give big zero for this place. We drove from Hollywood studios and wanted to finish good day with good dinner. Disappointing wasted 100 bucks. They don't have any idea about Indian foods. Before your order watch how other customers wasting food and leaving without even carrying out.... More
