Had dinner here with friends when I was in L.A. on business. It was mid-week so not a lot of people there and we were on the early side. But the setting was comfortable and a very nice meal. Our server Rico and the front end staff Crystal were very pleasent and helpful throughout our dining experience. I had the... More

It's always a treat to dine at McCormick & Schmicks in downtown Los Angeles and they were as great as ever when there recently. Nice ambiance and wood panelled furnishings. I go for the meat: steak, pork, lamb or veal, but fish dishes and seafood are super also. Great food & drinks, you'll enjoy. ...

We stopped here for dinner to have a good steak before heading out of the country. The restaurant was nicely decorated and clean. Had a nice atmosphere. The waitress was very pleasant and prompt. But I was disappointed in my steak, which was the only reason I had come to this restaurant. I ordered the 8 oz Filet and asked... More

Been to several other locations so my expectations were fairly high. Oysters were excellent as was service but fish was a bit overdone and crab stuffing was.boring.

Went there last evening. A bit noisy but the food and the service was good for a chain restaurant. Not outstanding in any aspect but good and reasonably priced. Worth it if you're in the nighborhood.

The restaurant is nicely situated if you have a concert at any of the venues at the Music Center in downtown Los Angeles. They offer a shuttle from the restaurant to the Music Center and back, though I believe there's only one so be prepared for a wait. Honestly the restaurant is only 3-4 blocks from the Walt Disney Concert... More
