This is a place I will definitely go back to: the ambience was lively and fun, very reminiscent of restaurants back in Europe. The service was excellent, without being stuffy as it is in the west side, and the food was superb. I had the night special, potato-crusted salmon, that made me a new salmon-addict (I usually eat beef). Another... More

Came with a Sherman Oaks friend who eats here often. We were nicely treated. I really enjoyed the lamb shank with couscous and carrots, plentiful yet reasonably priced. The gazpacho special was excellent. My friend had an angelhair primavera pasta, which he liked. All three dishes are things I would not have expected at a French bistro--but they were very... More

If you are craving basic French bistro food and want it well executed and not overpriced, come here. Atmosphere varies depending where you are seated but is fine throughout. Wine list is not extensive but they do have real glassware if you bring or order something worthy (no proper decanting service though). Service is generally attentive.

Le Petite restaurant has been their for many years. Its a nice "Petite" place for a wonderful dinner, with friends. Good food and drink, with a French influence.

My wife and I go to France often. We chose Le Petit for dinner the other night because ti has been a while since we had an authentic French meal. We have been to the adjacent The Great Greek a number of times, but never to Le Petit. I am glad that we went. I would rate the experience as... More

Since we are French we are used to French restaurant and French food no tried several ones in the area and Le Petit Restaurant is the one we preferred. The food was very good and compare to many others the meals have all very different and unique tastes. For sure we recommend and we'll go back soon!

I had been to Le Petit Restaurant a number of years ago and was not impressed with it then. Have just dined there again, I am still not impressed. Three of us ordered the roast chicken and frites, one ordered the potato crusted salmon. All three of the chicken breasts were dry and overcooked. The salmon was good, as were... More

Very cozy with French decor, although none of the waiters are French. I always go on a Monday night with my husband when we feel like mussels and a nice Pinot Noir. I also love their eggplant appetizer. Also, for lobster lovers, Monday nights they have a 20 special.

Great experience, excellent service, wonderful wine list, not over the top prices for French. Varied menu, loved the atmosphere. Bring your date and dress up or comfy and remove yourself from canned restaurant style. Very well appointed, just classy enough to feel pampered but not stuffy. Food was really pretty good, not SUPERB but good enough to go back. Loved... More

First it is 20 to 25% less expensive than Mistral which is Just a few blocks down the street; and the premier French Bistro in Valley. The interior has been redone and is causal elegant. The tables are very compact for us big guys but - OH that is very French. Corkage was $10 and very well presented, as we... More
