The Gypsy Café is also a Hookah lounge. The place is very low key. The humus was tasty but the kebobs were just okay. The prices were reasonable and the service was good.

Great place to smoke hookah! Get your drink on. Smoke some good shisha. Great view to people watch as tons of people walk by to Didi Reese to get ice cream cookies. Relaxing place. Only bad thing as is the case with all other places close by is the lack of parking.

Wow. Other reviews do not do it justice. Food is authentic, tasty and large portions. Chicken and schwarma were amazing and the service top notch. I have had middle eastern food globally and this establishment is among he top.

Day outside on a wonderful September night. Shared schwarma beef and spicy chicken dishes. Wonderful dishes and presentation, and cost was very reasonable. Highly recommend for relaxed dinner or quick snack.

Pretty decent middle eastern fare. I have ordered from the cafe many times in the past five years (close to work).

Had my 3 birthday lunch celebrations here with officemates, friends and with my daughter, all in a week's time. Ordered different kinds of dishes each visit & enjoyed them all. Enjoyed putting the sumac at everything on my plate! The lunch portion is just right, it's filling enough! I see myself coming back here again (even by myself) very soon.... More

Went for lunch with friends. Shish kebab was fair. Nice tomato soup. My friend's falafel was okay. Service was decent. Having someone doing a hookah nearby at lunch wasn't pleasant.

I've eaten here a couple of times at lunch while working at UCLA Medical Center and have never had a bad experience. The food is very good, the staff is friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is very nice. They have outdoor seating which is a bonus in Westwood, as well as in a hooka bar since I'm not a... More

The place is very friendly for lunches. I like the chicken kabobs there are very juicy and well cooked.

The worst I've had in years. Not what was advertised on the sidewalk signboard for $7.50 - tuna with capers and cilantro on a bed of fresh lettuce with tomato wedges and olives...NO capers, NO olives, WILTED lettuce and $8.95!!!! I complained about the salad, but they did NOT take it off the check and when I asked about the... More
