In front of Dolby Teatre this place is special to have a coffee with family and rest. When we won a free chocolate sample and tasted it there is a problem....we had to buy another!! Very good

Beautiful chocolates - great disney souvenirs and even some free tasters! Disney souvenirs were a little off the track in terms - much different from the disney store. Right across from Hollywood and vine and Hard rock cafe - right in the centre of town

My wife and I stopped in to visit for some of our favorite Gharidelli ice gream treats. The staff was very nice, and service was great.

I was excited to see that Ghirardelli had merged with the Disney Soda Fountain. We used to go to the fountain before and it felt a little run down, but had that vintage appeal that Hollywood Boulevard has. With the new renovation done, it is more modern and has a connected Disney store. I have to admit that even though... More

Fun shop to go in but it's smaller inside than it looks from the outside. Desserts are wonderful but a little on the expensive side. Better if you plan to split something with friends or family--the ice cream dishes are huge.

Go on the off hours, grab a seat, open your wallet, and enjoy fantastic food. The price is worth it. Located in the heart of the tourist district in Hollywood, get off the subway, pull up a chair, and enjoy the best milkshake you have ever had.

We went for the chocolate! We were greeted with a chocolate square and the service was great. We didn't purchase any Disney items.

After a Disney Movie at El Capitan (or any time), this is the place to go for souveniers, Disney goodies, and especially the Ghirardelli soda fountain. I recommend the ice cream, and of course the chocolate is exceptional. Don't eat so much popcorn during the movie that you don't "have room" for some delicious dessert!

The Disney store is always a magical place to visit with or without children and I loved it and the fact I got to combine that with an amazing sundae to satisfy my ice cream and chocolate needs I loved this place and would recommend you pay it a visit.

Try the Sundae delight. Yummy. Nice for simple lunch. Even better if you have kids. Next door to El Capitan Theater. Catch a movie at theater, then enjoy a fun lunch at Disney Ghiradelli store.

Staying in Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
