About 30 years ago we lived 3 blocks from this restaurant. I believe it was the first restaurant I had ever had a gyro. It was so close it was a visit every 1-2 weeks. On a return to the area, we were chatting with a waiter at Lobster in Santa Monica, when we told him we had lived in... More

I only have come for the gyro, so you are on your own regarding the rest of the menu. Gyro's are great! Get a sandwich or a combo. Good value either way. Portion size, including other dishes I've seen, is good. Can order a la carte or plates. Plates come with a great salad and side and drink. Everything seems... More

Pros: Texture seems a little missing, but flavor is good. Portions and prices are also right. Cons: Understaffed. Only one girl (who is really nice) is taking care of entire tables + maybe some backdoor office works. She is in and out between tables and back of the house during busy lunch hours. No helps from the guys in kitchen.... More

The food is good and they give very larger portions. It is a bit pricey, we often leave having paid close to $30 or $40 for just two of us to eat. The salads are very fresh, hard to come by!

The food was just bad. Overly seasoned. Over cooked. Truly dreadful experience. Now I must got get sick. There is nothing good to say about this place.... Wait - the Greek salad was tasty.

I have eaten the lamb shank with rice & gyros/fries. The lamb shank was authentic, the tomato gravy was truly Greek reminds me of Greek town in Chicago. This place has the best Tzatziki sauce I have ever eaten, it has a very faint hint of mint.. I must say it works well with the gyro meat. Honestly, this place... More

Greek restaurant in an old firehouse, with about fifteen tables. Order at the counter and they bring your food to you - or call ahead and get take-out. Good variety of Greek food including baklava, gyros, spanakopitas, moussaka, lots of other main dishes. We've been here fourteen times in seven years. Changed owners a couple years ago, and we're no... More

I stay away from lamb as a rule but this was some of the best I have ever eaten. Their rice that was served as one of my sides was awesome. Tight parking but we were lucky enough to get a spot behind the restaurant. Nothing fancy if dining in but overall the food was good.

My wife had the mousaka and I had the patitissio. Both of your dishes were dry and somewhat overcooked. the egglant and the pasta were both too dry - as if they were leftovers from another meal. On the bright side, the pre-meal salad was wonderful with just the right amount of feta cheese. On another note: the menu lacks... More
