Turkish I think... We had their popular chicken doner wrap. Highly recommended! We'd heard about this from friends so made a special trip just for a snack. Two of us split the wrap and it was perfect.

We visited this restaurant with a Occidental College student who absolutely loves this place. I had a falafel wrap. It was pretty good, just more peppocini than I expected. My daughter had the salad. She thought it was okay. Our friend chose the beef wrap. He loved it. Our fries were incredibly good !

Loved my salad here, so many good components. My kids ordered the wraps and said they were terrific. They come here a lot , so glad they brought me. Try the fries!

Wow, the food here is amazing, great friendly staff and a great little courtyard to eat in. We had the beef and lamb Kababs and they were out of this world. We would defiantly come back.

Every time I go to California to visit my son I ask to go to Spitz. We go on Sunday lunch time. I have been to the one in L A too and that is good but the one in Eagle Rock is brilliant! In U K terms it is just a kebab place ... but it has a magic... More

Spitz was started a few years ago by for Occidental college students who discovered the food while traveling the Europe. The meat is roasted on a vertical spit (hence, the name, I assume) and sliced fresh for the meals (similar to shawarma). Lamb, beef, chicken and mixed meats are available options to be served in a pita, as a flatbread... More

My coworkers and I stopped here for lunch during a busy day of meetings. Though the line was long, it moved quickly and we didn't wait long for our meal. The atmosphere was very hipster and casual. My colleagues enjoyed their wraps, but my "bowl" was just so so. The meat was excellent, but I was not expecting a plate... More

The lamb and beef meat, the spices, the sauce, the bread for the wrap were all very good and well-prepared! The place is a comfortable, hip neighborhood place that obviously comes from its surroundings. The decor is great! I can't wait to return. If you are in the hood, make sure to support a worthy local food spot!

I love Spitz! I’ve been to other locations prior coming to this one. There’s a nice outside patio to the place, but parking sucks. If you’re lucky you can park in the 3 spaces they have or park on the street. I got the Doner Basket which is half salad, half fries; Everything is good at Spitz no matter what... More

The menu is somewhat limited but the food is really good. If you like shwarma- beef/lamb (mixed) or chicken- you will like this. Falafel too. Try the street fries. Some of the food is spicy, that's a good thing. Good prices. Would definitely eat here again.
