Big enough for a group of 15 and they can still run the other side of the restaurant with no problem Decent inexpensive prices Food is good, but not like "you gotta go there, you have to try....." kinda food. It's like ok-good Service is decent. Everyone has always been nice when I've gone with another person or a group... More

I stopped by this restaurant for a couple of drinks with a friend in June 2016. The experience was just average. The decor was classic Mexican restaurant, but not over the top. It was nice. The servers were all very friendly and attentive. I was a little surprised by the prices, they seemed a little high to me. The margaritas... More

I have had the mouth watering pleasure of eating at El Tarasco on three separate occasions, and each time was delightful. Today, I'm trying their classic Tres Enchiladas de Pollo. So far, I've had their Emily's Chicken Mole, which was succulent and the mole sauce wasnt cloyingly sweet. I also had the Chicken Burrito Ranchero. A happy, fat burrito with... More

Live a few blocks away not many choices. We like it but a few times we said never again due to poor service but since I like the food and drinks I make my husband give it another chance. This last visit. Service was great. More attentive from all directions. I was glad. Because this means I won't have to... More

We tried this place on recommendation from friends. We were complaining that there were no decent restaurants in Sylmar. We were not disappointed here! It was not run-of-the-mill Mexican. Very different dishes, yet traditional. Cooked very well - even the beans and rice were done well. The margarita/special drink menu is impressive. We had a coconut margarita and it was... More

This restaurant is amazing. Their decor as tasteful as their authentic mexican cuisine. Everything about this restaurant is amazing. The margaritas are the best I've ever had. Our server recomended a margarita and said if you don't like it I will pay it out of my tips. Our server Chris was absolutely positive we would get hooked and he was... More

We visited the Nethercutt Museum today to see the world's greatest classic car collection and to attend the Organ concert. Based on other reviews we decided to go to El Terasco afterward, which was less than a mile away. We enjoyed our dinner and our waitress, Liz, who was friendly and very helpful. This is a family operated restaurant that... More
