Come early because they only have so much to sell. The muffins and breads are fabulous. You can get coffee too.

I was visiting Los Gatos for the day and stumbled upon this bakery. It is tucked away in a small strip mall by the Bank of the West. It is mainly croissants, breads, etc. and coffee. The almond croissant I had was great; flaky, a...More
I've only been to this bakery once but I get their pastries from Farmer's Market (Campbell, California Ave in Palo Alto, etc.) almost every Sunday. I love love love the Kouign-Amann (pronounced Queen Amon). It's a French pastry made of folded Crossiant dough and lots...More
Breads sold by Manresa Bread are without question the absolute best. We prefer the fruit and nut bread choices offered on a seasonal basis. The pastries, croissants, etc. are excellent as well.
We dined at Manresa, and were impressed by the breads, so the next morning, we headed to Manresa Bread, almost next door. Though early, it was obvious that many of the items had already sold out, but we found a couple of gorgeous Almond Crescents,...More
Given the reputation of the restaurant Manresa, I had high hopes for their bakery; I was, unfortunately, disappointed. Got the Pain Levain, took it home, prepared to make a sandwich and was completely surprised to see that the "guts" of the bread was riddled with...More
Small selection of high-quality breads and pastries. I love their pumpernickel bread that is chock full of rye berries and other seeds. Delicious kouign amann and rich quiches are also part of their regular offering. While prices are high, it does keep you from over-indulging!
I came here on a Tuesday morning and was surprised they still had plenty of items left. The baguette and chocolate croissant were very good while their cookies were excellent. Beware, prices aren't cheap but it's comparable to other fine bakeries like Bouchon Bakery.
Superior quality and service. Associated with the singular Michelin 3-Star Manresa Restaurant by Chef David Kinch. Get there early in the day to pick up fresh crusty bread and pastries (they can sell out or have limited selections later in the day). My selections rarely...More
My sister visiting from Los Angeles turned me on to this bakery; said it was "the best bread she's ever had!". I concur. Bit pricey, but worth the indulgence.
