It's overpriced and over-rated but they have the best nato I've tried outside Japan (off the menu) and the atmosphere and service are exceptional

We had a 2 pm reservation for lunch and although we arrived almost an hour early they didn't seat us until 2 but they gave us the BEST table. We sat outside on the deck, overlooking the ocean. We were able to take our time ordering and just enjoy the view. We have been to several Nobu restaurants and the... More

It is expensive but worth it. Go there and experience it at least once if you are in the area. The fish is fresh, quality is excellent and the service will help complete the experience.

I would recommend going at sunset. This trip I visited Nobu 3 times! And boy is it worth it. The food is amazing! The deep fried spring rolls that you dip in caramel and chocolate sauce would have to be the best dessert followed by the chocolate pudding. The atmosphere is everything. The staff are friendly and wow that view.... More

Great fresh sushi and amazing service, good bartenders that know how to make a drink. Great views out over the bay.

Everything on the menu was stellar! If you're wondering what to order just ask the friendly waiters, they're able to recommend you what's great. I had a great experience and would definitely come back to eat their sashimi tacos.

If you're looking for a place along the PCH where you can look out onto the ocean, almost feel the waves and smell the salt air, and you want to enjoy food that is memorable, artfully presented, and service that is attentive, but not intrusive, Nobu is a dining experience for you. I went for a 5:30 seating with my... More

Good: A great location with a fantastic view. Hot food like miso-glazed black cod is excellent. Bad: very slow service. It took 90 minutes to get our sushi. The quality of sushi was average. Valet parking is chaotic.

Beautiful building overlooking the Pacific. Attentive knowledgeable servers. Perfect ambiance. But the best part is the food. My favorites artichoke salad, black cod, spicy edamame, tenderloin yuzco truffle, yellowtail shashimi, etc. Those are just the tip of the iceberg. Don't forget the infused sake. Expensive but worth every penny.

Perfect restaurant with an extensive imaginative menu. Beautiful inside and outside with great views. Different than some of the other Nobu restaurants back east. We had our children with us and one of them is a picky eater. Everyone was pleased. My only critique was that the lobster tacos were the size of my thumb. Good but tiny.

Thank Pilar D

Staying in Malibu

Neighbourhood Profile
The Malibu coastline is like a chameleon. In some areas it resembles the French Riviera with its lush, green hillsides descending into crescent-shaped shorelines. In others, it feels 100% Southern Californian with beaches wide and flat as a football field, and often crowded with beach-goers lounging on towels and playing volleyball. Other coastlines still feel secluded, tucked under tall cliffs and dotted with stunning rock formations. In certain areas, where the ocean waves are just right, surfers can be seen bobbing in the water. Up in the mountains to the east hikers take in truly stunning views of the ocean and the sprawling Los Angeles landscape. And along Pacific Coast Highway, restaurants are filled with visitors and locals from all walks of life. Stumble into the right place at the right time, and you’ll likely encounter a celebrity.
