Come into town every quater for business, and this is my favorit place to eat while in Manteca. Great staff and excellent food.

Good food, fast service and we love their free chips and salsa bar! That's all I can think of to say...prices are good too and they have a good selection of iyems.
The 4 times I have been here there has been something wrong with my order. We aren't complicated. My kids get plain tacos and my husband and I get a carnitas plate or burrito but the cashier always messes something up. From our order to charging us and then saying she didn't and then saying she did for a drink.... More
The meats are some of the finest! I especially like the Al Pastor (Marinated Spicy Pork), Pollo Asado (grilled chicken), and Cabeza (Beef head) -- my new Fav! The salsas are homemade and many, also grilled chiles of at least two or three varieties. Machaca is great too. Never tried the seafood but will try that soon!
Loved Taqueria La Estrella......if you love great Mexican food this is a great place to go!.....The line is sometimes long but worth the wait....from scrimp cocktails to full Mexican dinners the flavors of chili and perfectly seasoned meats can't be beat....,you won't be disappointed!
We were staying over the road at the holiday inn and the lady behind reception recommended this. We loved it! Great fresh food, quick service and great value. It was very popular with locals whilst we were there and had a great atmosphere.
We were on our way to Yosemite and took a longer route from San Jose. It was wonderful. The dish that blew our minds was the Molcajete.
