This place did the trick. I was at a gas station and starving to death when I saw this diner around the corner. We had lunch and Tina took special care of us as if we were the only people in the world to ever need a meal. The nature show on the tv was about beavers and I learned... More

Got stuck in a horrendous traffic jam when mudslides closed the freeways back to SoCal, stopped and went into this establishment. Food was mediocre, but the atmosphere and the friendliness of the locals made up for it.

Tina is so friendly it might throw you off your guard. She treated my like family the minute I walked in the door. Giant portions, delicious food. This place has a lot of character--if you're an Olive Garden type of person you may want to steer clear. There were a couple locals hanging out there, as well as a young... More

Tina is a very nice lady. This diner is in the middle of nowhere like the hotel. Tina gives an abundance of food. Not sure if she normally takes credit/debit cards. The food is average. Quaint/Country Diner. Tina is a one woman organization.

Sweetest lady ever! Treated me like I lived there. Food huge portion that had to be brought out in more than one plate. It's not your fancy pants place but just cooking from the heart! If you miss this place your a bonehead. Go!

This restaurant is definitely one of a kind. If you like fast food or a stainless steel environment, keep going. However, you will get super friendly service and decent food here. The owner makes you feel right at home. A bit of housekeeping would improve the ambience. There is a lot of "stuff" everywhere, plus many hanging plants. It is... More

We just happened across this place...well let's face it, Tima's (The sign-painter spelled it wrong as Tina) was the only place open for dinner. LOL Fatima is a very friendly lady, more than happy to talk about the town and the unique building the restaurant is in. She's been there for over 20 years, and is happy to chat &... More

Our recent dinner & breakfast were a genuine treat. Tina's room & food are a lost treasure from another time of back-road travel in the West . The people looking for it on Route 66 will find it there.

We were going to take one of the dirt trails over to the Carizza Plains but instead turned North on the 33 and found a little place called Tina's Diner where we had breakfast. The owner Fatima Johnson Pesante was our hostess, waitress, cook and we assume bus person. Despite the fact that it took a little longer than we... More

If you're in Maricopa, you simply have to stop in here for a meal. The owner (Tina, of course) is a great lady. I didn't feel like I was in a diner. She makes you feel like you're in her home. She started me off with a large bowl of soup. Then a large salad, which was lettuce over top... More
