Spotted this restaurant while walking and decided to try it out. It was a Saturday before Mothers Day around 3pm. Great service, great food. We sat in the open section. Very casual and easy. Margaritas were okay, but chips and burritos were very flavorful. Great place for couples, families and friends. Good vibe. Parking a plus - especially on the... More

If you want an indoor/outdoor place where partiers are the norm and if you are craving gooey cheese laden Mexican and pitchers of Margaritas, this location will satisfy. People stay for hours so table availability is at times tight. If you can walk or Uber it, that’s best as parking is tight. Not only that, driving would inevitably be a... More

Apparently they do a happy hour 5-7 or 4-6 and then AGAIN from 10-12! Amazing for those of us who get out of work a little later. The nachos.. amazing. I can't even begin. Good beer selection and fun, friendly bartenders. Plenty of parking and close walking from the beach!

Best fish tacos in VB. My favorite the Costa Azul or the Pipeline. Try them with their house made hot sauces. Not for the faint of heart. Not only great grub for lunch or dinner a fun nighttime hangout as well. Never a dull moment at Baja Cantina. A one stop shop with it all.

The food was lovely. We enjoyed the food, really good mexican food. Loved the guacamoly!! Vegetarian option as well! We only eat a maincourse but that is enough, big plates.

Had the chile verde burrito and a few baja-ritas. Not the place for a quiet conversation even on a Monday night, but the food was very good, the drinks were properly made and it was a fun atmosphere with an attentive server. Good mix of locals, tourists and business folk. Great spot on Washington right near Venice Beach. Will definitely... More

Staying in Venice

Neighbourhood Profile
Venice has always danced to its own beat as the epicenter of bohemian culture in Los Angeles. Along the boardwalk there are street performers and local craftsmen selling their wares. Original paintings, souvenirs, and jewelry are on display. Crowds of visitors marvel at the sites while weightlifting enthusiasts pump iron in plain view, and skateboarders do their tricks around the skate park. All of it happens under the warm California sun with sprawling views of sand and sea. Heading east, the main drags of Abbot Kinney Boulevard and Main Street are lined with boutique shops, some major retail stores, art galleries and restaurants. Here the ambiance is more relaxed and upscale than the frenetic boardwalk area. Venice is a mostly walkable (and certainly bikeable) neighborhood, full of areas to explore.
